Treatment Preparation & Aftercare

The following guidance applies to all treatments at Beau Beauty & Beau Skin. You will always receive personalised aftercare tailored to your specific service on the day of your appointment.

Before Your Appointment

To ensure your skin is in its best condition for treatment, please pause the use of active skincare products such as retinol, exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs) and strong vitamin C for 5–7 days prior to your visit. Avoid excessive sun exposure and do not attend your appointment with irritated, broken or compromised skin.

After Your Appointment

Your results continue to develop once you leave the salon. For the first 24–48 hours, avoid heat, steam, intense exercise and direct sun exposure. Keep the treated area clean, avoid unnecessary touching, and allow it to settle naturally.

Temporarily avoid active skincare and use only gentle, hydrating products unless otherwise advised. Daily SPF is strongly recommended to protect and maintain your results.

Some mild redness, sensitivity or tightness can be a normal response as the area adjusts and renews. Allow the process to happen naturally — avoid picking, rubbing or over-exfoliating.
