Aftercare Instructions Keep the Second Skin On for 5 Days This is crucial! Keeping it on protects your skin, allowing it to heal properly and helping the ink settle for a beautifully healed tattoo. Remove the Second Skin Gently When it’s time to remove the second skin, do so gently in the shower or under running water. Slowly peel it downward – don’t rip it off – to avoid pulling out the ink. Clean Gently Wash the area twice a day with mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean towel – no rubbing! Apply Ointment After Second Skin Removal Once the second skin is off, start applying a thin layer of the provided ointment 2-3 times a day with clean hands to keep the area moisturized and protected. Hands Off Don’t touch, pick, or scratch the area – let your skin heal naturally to avoid fading or scarring. No Makeup or Skincare Products Keep the area free of makeup and products until fully healed to prevent irritation and infection. Stay Out of the Sun, Pools, and Saunas No direct sun, tanning, swimming, or saunas for 2 weeks. Moisture and heat can cause irritation and slow healing. Avoid Excessive Sweat Skip the gym or any sweaty activities for the first week to prevent infection or fading. Watch for Infection Redness and swelling are normal, but if you notice excessive redness, pus, or feel feverish, contact us or a medical professional right away.
