Hydrate Your Glow, massage increases circulation and moves lymph. Drinking plenty of water or herbal tea helps your body flush out toxins and keeps your skin looking radiant and hydrated from the inside out.
Your Custom Oil Blend during your treatment, I selected a base oil specifically for your skin’s needs:
Sesame Seed Oil: I used this "liquid gold," it was to deeply nourish your tissues and ground your nervous system. Its warming properties are best kept on the skin for as long as possible—try to wait a few hours before showering to let the nutrients soak in.
Grape Seed Oil: was used on your face this on your skin is benefitting from a lightweight boost of Vitamin E and antioxidants. It absorbs quickly, leaving you with a silky, non-greasy finish.
Essential Oil Care If we added a bespoke aromatherapy blend to your session, the oils will continue to work for several hours.
Please avoid direct sunlight/UV exposure for 12 hours (especially if we used citrus oils) and avoid alcohol tonight to allow your body to process the oils effectively.
The "Beauty Within" Wind-Down
Rest: Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Your muscles have been worked deeply; give them time to repair.
Warmth: Keep your body warm to maintain muscle suppleness. A warm (not hot) bath with Epsom salts later this evening is highly recommended.
Listen: It is normal to feel slightly tired or "tender" tomorrow, this is simply your body's way of healing. Can’t wait to see you at your next appointment!

Aftercare Advice: Hot Stone Massage
Hydration is Key - Hot stone massage increases circulation and stimulates the lymphatic system. Drink plenty of water over the next 24 hours to help your body flush out toxins and metabolic waste released during your treatment.
Nourish Your Skin - During your session, I used a blend of Grapeseed and Sesame oils. Grapeseed oil is light and packed with Vitamin E to repair the skin barrier. Sesame oil is a traditional warming oil known for its grounding properties and ability to soothe joints.
Pro Tip: If possible, wait at least 2–4 hours before showering to allow these nutrient-rich oils to fully absorb into your skin.
Maintain the Warmth - Your muscles have been deeply relaxed through heat. Avoid cold drafts, cold showers, or intense air conditioning immediately after your session. Keeping your body warm will help prevent muscles from "shocking" or tightening back up.
Rest and Rejuvenate - Your body is in a state of repair. For the rest of the day, please:
Avoid strenuous exercise: Give your muscles time to settle.
Eat light: Choose a light, nutritious meal to avoid diverting too much energy to digestion.
Skip the caffeine/alcohol: These can dehydrate the body and interfere with the relaxation process.
What to Expect - It is perfectly normal to feel a bit "spacey" or exceptionally relaxed after a hot stone treatment. You may also experience mild muscle tenderness tomorrow, similar to the feeling after a workout. This is a sign that your body is responding to the deep tissue work.

Reiki & Reflexology
Since both treatments work on rebalancing the body's energy and systems, the advice is similar.
• Hydrate: Drink plenty of water for the next 24 hours. This helps the kidneys flush out the toxins released during the session.
• Rest: You may feel deeply relaxed or unusually tired. Listen to your body and rest if needed.
• Avoid Stimulants: Try to avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours, as these can interfere with the rebalancing process.
• Eat Light: Opt for a light, nourishing meal rather than something heavy or processed.
• Emotional Release: It is perfectly normal to feel a little emotional or "dreamy" after Reiki or Reflexology. Be gentle with yourself.
Hopi Ear Candling Aftercare
Because this affects the ears and sinuses, specific precautions are needed.
• Keep Dry: Avoid swimming or submerging your head in water for 24 hours.
• Stay Warm: Try to avoid cold drafts or wind blowing directly into your ears for the rest of the day.
• Natural Drainage: You may notice a small amount of wax or residue working its way out of the ear over the next 48 hours. This is normal—just wipe the outer ear gently; do not use cotton buds inside the canal.
• Sinus Relief: If you feel your sinuses "draining" (a runny nose), this is a positive sign that the treatment is working.
Possible Reactions from Dermaplaning treatment and Aftercare advice
Reactions from treatment include: skin redness, peeling, dryness, irritation, tightness, itching, post treatment acne flares, blemishes, whiteheads, or folliculitis. Dermaplaning may also cause minor superficial abrasions and light scabs which may not appear until a day or two following your treatment.
Effects will usually typically resolve within hours and most people are able to return to their normal activities thesame or next day. Some people may react differently and may experience these reactions for longer. However, these reactions are temporary and typically resolve within 3-7 days as the skin returns to normal.
There is a very small risk of infection and scarring, although this is not expected to occur due to the sterility of the procedure and the minimally invasive nature of dermaplaning.
There is a small risk that hyperpigmentation of the skin can occur after the procedure, although this is not normally expected due to the superficial nature of the treatment. Failure to follow the advice detailed below can increase this risk.
Post Treatment Advice:
The skin may experience minor peeling or flaking but refrain from touching or picking the skin as this may compromise results.
The skin can be cleansed with a gentle cleanser with warm / tepid water but the use of soap should be avoided until the skin normalises. Do not scrub. Pat to dry only.
Avoid the use of benzoyl peroxide or glycolic acid facial skin products during the healing process.
Avoid facial products containing fragrance for 5-7 days after treatment as these may irritate the skin.
Avoid the use of exfoliants, further peeling agents, retinoids, retinols and vitamin A products for 7 days after treatment.
Refrain from saunas, steam baths and hot showers for 24 hours.
Avoid high impact aerobic exercise or vigorous physical activity for 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid intensive sun exposure, tanning booths or extreme weather conditions for a minimum of 2 weeks post treatment.
Use daily sunscreen protection with a minimum of SPF30 for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
Avoid electrolysis, depilatory creams, waxing and laser hair removal for a minimum of 7 days after treatment.
Avoid strong chlorinated water (swimming or cleaning) for approximately 7 days.
Use of an intensive moisturiser is advised for at least a week as skin may feel drier or tighter after treatment.
Mineral make-up can be applied once skin has settled.
