Sara completed her initial massage therapy training with Jing Advanced Massage Training and is currently working towards completing her BTEC level 6 professional diploma in advanced clinical and sports massage; this is a degree-level course and is currently the highest level of sports and clinical massage in the UK Sara is a Jing Method™ advanced clinical massage therapist. She is qualified to treat a range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions including low back pain, neck pain, headaches, whiplash, RSI, fibromyalgia and many other ongoing injury or pain conditions. As an advanced clinical massage therapist Sara is trained in a range of safe and effective soft tissue and massage techniques that aim to reduce your pain and increase your movement within 1-6 clinical treatments. The techniques Sara uses blends the best of advanced bodywork techniques from both East and West including trigger point, fascial work, acupressure and stretching with a truly holistic approach based on the biopsychosocial model of pain and modern neuroscience. Sara uses a warm and heart centred approach that takes full account of all your physical and emotional needs and she is committed to working alongside you to get the results you need. Sara’s background is in biomedical sciences. She trained and worked in clinical biochemistry at King’s College London, and subsequently in the area of healthcare research and public health improvement.
Sara’s healthcare science knowledge and experience means that she is in a unique position of understanding how massage therapy can support traditional medical care for people living with a variety of pain conditions. Sara lives in Seaford, and in her spare time enjoys yoga, strength training, calligraphy and spending time with her family.
