FAQ

What is personal colour analysis?

Personal colour analysis is a method of identifying which colours look most flattering on you based on your natural colouring — your skin tone, hair colour, and eye colour. Using the 12-season colour system, a trained analyst uses fabric draping to determine your colour season (such as Soft Summer, Deep Autumn, or Clear Winter) and build a personalised palette you can use for clothes, makeup, jewellery, and more.

How much does colour analysis cost?

A personal colour analysis session at The Colour Doc costs £250 for a 2.5-hour one-to-one consultation at our studio in Battersea, South West London. A fabric swatch booklet is available as an optional add-on.

Where is The Colour Doc?

The Colour Doc studio is located at 78B Chatham Road, Battersea, London SW11 6HG — a few steps from Northcote Road, Clapham, and a short walk from Clapham Junction station. We’re between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common.

Do you offer colour analysis for men?

Yes! The Colour Doc offers personal colour analysis for both women and men. The process is exactly the same — we use fabric draping to find the colours that harmonise with your natural colouring, regardless of gender.

What should I expect in a colour analysis session?

During your 2.5-hour session, we’ll analyse your natural colouring (skin tone, hair, and eyes) and use professional fabric draping in natural daylight to determine your colour season. You’ll discover your best “wow colours,” learn flattering combinations, and get practical advice on applying your palette to your wardrobe, makeup, jewellery, hair colour, and accessories.
