Welcome to The Gel Art Academy, a cosy and relaxing home salon and training academy based in Ryde, Isle Of Wight just a short walk from the beach.
I qualified with The Gel Bottle in 2019 and specialise in natural nail treatments including gel, builder gel and intricate hand painted art. Working with industry leading products such as The Gel Bottle, HONA, Neom, Rituals and Elemis to bring you treatments that are not only good for your skin & body but also bring a sense of well-being and calm. I am also a qualified educator and offer accredited nail courses for students wanting to start their own career in the nail industry.
I’m proud to have had my work and salon featured in Scratch Magazine and to be a HBA 2024 Finalist in the category for ‘Best Gel Nails’ as well as a 2025 finalist for ‘Educator Of Excellence’ 🏆

Come to the salon for a morning or afternoon of training in a variety of different floral designs. You will be provided with everything you need to carry out the workshop and create a series of floral designs. Art courses are designed for existing nail techs looking to enhance their skills and learn a range of new nail art techniques. These are non accredited masterclasses however, you will receive a certificate of completion to display in your salon/ keep for future reference.

Learn a variety of different skincare treatments which can be used on hands and feet to provide a luxury treatment and perfect add on for your client’s get manicures or pedicures. We will go through exfoliators, hand masks, gloves treatments, treatment candles, foot masks, cuticle oils, balms & more! As well as different application techniques and massage. I will demonstrate the above and you will be able to try out the products and try application yourself.
This course is perfect for qualified techs wishing to enhance the treatments they offer or to anyone wanting to learn skincare of the hands and feet. This course is non accredited however, you will receive a certificate of completion to display in your salon for your clients.

Flexible Training Info: 5-8 weeks however this is flexible so if for example there is a week you can not attend or you cannot attend consecutive weeks we can work around this. As we go along I will provide certificates once you are training in each section so you will be able to get started for example on Gel nails if the first course completed is Gels.
