A typical TRT monitoring panel tracks three categories: Hormone Balance, Blood Safety, and Organ Health.
Total Testosterone: The baseline measure of testosterone in your system.
Free Testosterone (Calculated): The "active" hormone available for your tissues to use. SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin): A protein that binds to testosterone; high levels can lower your "Free" T.
Albumin: Another binding protein used to accurately calculate free testosterone levels.
Oestradiol (E2): To monitor for "aromatization" (testosterone converting to estrogen), which can cause mood swings or water retention.
