Do not pick off your gels - as tempting as this may be it’s not good for your nail plate and can cause weakness and nail trauma. Use cuticle oil regularly - once or twice a day should do the trick! My favourite spot is next to my toothbrush so I can remember to apply in the morning and evening. Keeping your hands moisturised with creams and lotions promotes healthy cell rejuvenation which will also help your nails to grow. Wear gloves when washing up and gardening - remember your nails are jewels, not tools. Avoid prolonged soaking - warm water causes our nail beds to become flexible which can then cause lifting of gel products so avoid using saunas, hot tubs, hot baths, washing up bowls etc. Regular manis are the best way to keep on top of your nail health. For gel/ BIAB manicures a new application is recommended every 2-4 weeks and enhancements are recommended every 2-3 weeks. The longer you leave your mani the more prone you are to damage.
• Do not get wet for 24 hours post treatment • Try to sleep on your back so not to bend your lashes against your pillow • You can wear mascara after first 24 hours and then gently remove makeup • Avoid rubbing your eyes
To prolong your tint avoid using oil based makeup removers
