Hello and welcome! If you're ready to refine your skills, streamline your workflow and unlock the best kept tools, secrets and strategies in the industry - you're exactly where you need to be, the home of the 1:2:1 Speed and Skills Session!
I’m Amy, a nail professional of 15 years and a former art and business teacher. I began my nail career with acrylics and used acrylic for 8 years, I lived and breathed them! Sadly, I was forced to give up working with acrylic and had no idea where to turn, acrylic was all I knew. I felt completely lost and unsure of what to do next.
In the space of just nine months, I‘d sold all my acrylics, retrained in polygel and hard gel and rebranded about six times, just trying to find my new place within such a fast paced and ever evolving industry. Eventually I discovered Bio Sculpture and I’ve never looked back since.
As you can see, I've used a vast array of product types and brands over the years and I'm pleased to say that my sessions are non-brand specific. I welcome you to use any brand of your choice during your session but please know that results can only be guaranteed if you're working with professional brands, tools and products.
So, what now? Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my tips, tricks, and knowledge with more than 500 nail professionals, helping them deliver flawless results in hourly appointments just like I do without ever compromising on quality, retention, or finish. Natural nail health remains paramount and rest assured, this is NOT a rush job, this is efficiency at the highest level.
And 2026? It’s set to be the biggest year yet! I’ve combined the 1:2:1 Speed and Skills Session with the Russian Manicure Masterclass so you can achieve maximum results in the fastest, most efficient way - no need for two separate courses!
Let me set the scene... you're putting plenty of effort in but feel like it's not quite falling into place for you?
Perhaps you're working hard, working long hours, you're always busy with no time for yourself and heading towards burnout!
Maybe you left your course feeling like you're not ready to work on clients confidently?
Or you just want to take what you do now, elevate the finish and cut some of the faff out so that you can welcome more clients into your business without extending your working hours?
No matter your circumstances, this is the session for you.
What's Covered In The Session? The easier question here is what isn’t!? I’ve jam packed this session with as much as possible to make sure that you get the most out of the time.
This session is built on three main areas; theory, practical and business.
Here’s a quick snapshot of what we cover;
•different types of nail structure
•manual preparation
•efile preparation
•efile bits and speeds
•when to soak and when to rebalance
•how primers can help and hinder adhesion
•differences between soft and hard gels
•differences in apex’s and apex placements
•how we can use the properties of gels to our advantage
•how to prevent lifting
•anti-allergy application method
•how to prevent and quick-fix flooding
•no bleed gel colour application
•see an end to inconsistent colour coverage
•how to file and shape for maximum strength
•audit of your service menu
•client attraction strategies
•leave with your ‘what you can afford to lose figure’
and so much more! If there’s something you’d like to cover which isn’t on this list, just ask! It’s your session and I’m happy to adapt and accommodate wherever possible.
The adaptability of this session is the main reason it’s not accredited. I’d have to teach rigidly, unable to respond to the individual needs of each professional meaning you don’t leave with exactly what you need!
