Microblading Aftercare Guide Congratulations on your new brows! Proper aftercare is crucial for the best healing and long-lasting results. First 24 Hours Keep brows dry. Only cleanse with sterile water as recommended for the first 7 days. Lightly dab with a clean cotton pad if needed — avoid soaking or scrubbing. Keep the area dry—avoid excess water, sweat, or steam. Days 1-7: Daily Care Routine Gently cleanse your brows with lukewarm sterile water or water wipes. Moisturizing: Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare balm with clean hands or a cotton swab. Less is more—do not over-apply. Things to Avoid (Until Fully Healed, About 2 Weeks) 🚫 No touching, picking, or scratching—let any scabs fall off naturally. 🚫 No excessive moisture: avoid swimming, sweating, steam, or long hot showers. 🚫 No makeup, skincare products, or sunscreen directly on your brows. 🚫 No sunbathing, tanning beds, or laser treatments on the area. 🚫 No facials, exfoliants, or chemical peels. Healing Timeline Days 1-3: Brows will appear darker and slightly swollen. Days 4-7: Flaking and light scabbing may occur—do not pick! Days 7-14: Brows may look lighter or patchy as the pigment settles. Weeks 4-6: Colour will fully stabilize, revealing your final results. ✨ Always apply SPF to prevent fading. ✨ Avoid using exfoliating acids (retinol, AHA, BHA) near the brow area. ✨ Your second session in 4-6 weeks is recommended for the best result Annual colour boost treatments are recommended to maintain shape and vibrancy Following these aftercare steps will ensure your brows heal perfectly. Avoid intense work outs, swimming pools or exposure to steam/hot water for 24 hours post treatment. Avoid any spray tans or fake tan for 48 hours. Avoid picking or pulling at flakey skin as this could lead to scarring. Avoid any active ingredients such as ANA'S, BHA'S vitamin A Benzoyl peroxide or any other exfoliating products for the next 3-5 days or until the skin is healed. Keep skin hydrated and protect it with at least an spf30. Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for 2 weeks after treatment. No other skin or hair removal treatments in the area for the next 2 weeks. Side effects may include, but are not limited to irritation, redness, swelling, tightness and flaking or peeling of the skin. Once all sensitivity has gone it is fine to reintroduce your normal skin care products
