Beautie By Hollie — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments booked with Beautie By Hollie (“I”, “me”, “my”, or “the business”). By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Appointments & Booking
- All appointments must be booked in advance.
- An appointment is only confirmed once the required booking fee/deposit has been received, where applicable.
- Please provide accurate contact information when booking.
- Appointments are reserved specifically for you, so please arrive on time.
- I reserve the right to refuse or cancel an appointment where necessary.
2. Booking Fees & Deposits
- A deposit of 10% may be required to secure your appointment.
- Booking fees are non-refundable, except where the cancellation is due to Beautie By Hollie.
- Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment, where applicable.
- By paying your booking fee, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- At least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice result in the loss of your booking fee/deposit.
- Repeated late cancellations may require full payment in advance for future appointments.
- If you do not attend your appointment without contacting me, this will be treated as a no-show, and your booking fee/deposit will not be refunded.
- I reserve the right to decline future bookings following repeated no-shows or late cancellations.
4. Late Arrivals
- Please arrive on time for your appointment.
- Arriving late may reduce the time available for your treatment.
- If you arrive more than 15] minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened, amended, or cancelled.
- If your appointment has to be cancelled due to your lateness, your booking fee/deposit may be forfeited.
5. Nail Health & Suitability
- Please inform me before your appointment of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, nail conditions, or previous reactions to nail products that may be relevant to your treatment.
- I reserve the right to refuse or alter a treatment if I believe it may be unsuitable or unsafe.
- I will not knowingly apply products to nails or surrounding skin where there are signs of infection, open wounds, significant irritation, or another condition that may make treatment unsuitable.
- If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you, please contact me before booking.
6. Allergies & Allergic Reactions
- While every effort is made to provide safe treatments, allergic reactions or sensitivities can occur.
- Please inform me of any known allergies or previous reactions before your appointment.
- If you experience an unusual reaction following a treatment, please contact me as soon as possible and seek appropriate medical advice if necessary.
- Beautie By Hollie cannot accept responsibility for reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed before treatment.
7. Treatment Results & Aftercare
- Results can vary depending on individual nail condition, lifestyle, occupation, and aftercare.
- You will be provided with appropriate aftercare advice following your treatment.
- Following the recommended aftercare is important for maintaining the appearance and longevity of your nails.
- Beautie By Hollie cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect aftercare, picking, biting, peeling, using nails as tools, or other avoidable damage.
8. Repairs & Complaints
- If you experience a problem with your nails shortly after your appointment, please contact me within 48 hours and provide photographs where requested.
- Any repair or correction will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Repairs may be free where the issue is determined to be related to the application, but charges may apply where damage has resulted from accidental damage, picking, biting, or failure to follow aftercare advice.
- If you are unhappy with your treatment, please contact me directly so that I have the opportunity to resolve the issue.
9. Payments
- Payment must be made by cash or card at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.
- All prices will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- Additional charges may apply for nail art, extensions, removals, repairs, or other extras requested during the appointment.
- Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated before they apply to existing bookings where possible.
10. Nail Art & Design Requests
- Nail art and design requests should be discussed before or at the beginning of your appointment.
- Intricate designs may require additional time and may incur an additional charge.
- If you provide an inspiration photograph, I will do my best to recreate the design; however, an exact match cannot always be guaranteed.
11. Removal of Existing Products
- Please advise me when booking if you have existing gel, acrylic, BIAB, or other nail products that require removal.
- Removal may incur an additional charge and/or require additional appointment time.
- I may decline to remove products that have been applied by another technician if I believe removal could cause damage to the natural nail.
12. Personal Belongings
- Please keep valuable or personal belongings with you during your appointment.
- Beautie By Hollie cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to an appointment.
13. Children & Guests
- Please check with me before bringing additional guests or children to your appointment, as space and safety requirements may limit this.
- Children must remain supervised at all times.
- I reserve the right to ask guests who are disruptive or who compromise the safety or comfort of the appointment to leave.
14. Photos & Social Media
- With your permission, photographs of your finished nails may be taken for portfolio, website, or social media purposes.
- You may request that photographs are not taken or posted.
- No personal information will be shared alongside your images without your permission.
15. Privacy
- Personal information provided when booking will be used only for legitimate business purposes, including appointment management and communication.
- Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection and privacy requirements.
16. Right to Refuse Service
Beautie By Hollie reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment where:
- A client is abusive, threatening, or disrespectful.
- A client appears intoxicated or otherwise unable to safely receive treatment.
- The condition of the nails or surrounding skin makes treatment unsuitable.
- A client repeatedly fails to follow these Terms & Conditions.
- Continuing the appointment could compromise the safety, wellbeing, or comfort of the client or technician.
17. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the business, services, or applicable requirements. The most recent version will apply to future bookings.
18. Acceptance
By booking an appointment with Beautie By Hollie, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
