These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all non-bridal bookings (including party makeup, special occasions, photoshoots, lessons, and commercial work), services and interactions between Belen Mateo (“the Artist“, “we”, “us”) and the client (“you”). By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide on-location professional makeup and related beauty services for events, photoshoots, weddings, and private appointments. A detailed description of services and pricing is available on our website.

2. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable booking fee (retainer) of 20% is required to secure your appointment on the desired date and time.
• The remaining balance must be paid on or before the appointment date.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash.
• Prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Booking fees are non-refundable.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment may be charged up to 100% of the remaining balance.
• One reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
• In the unlikely event that the Artist must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments made will be issued, and we will attempt to recommend a replacement artist where possible.

4. Late Arrivals, Access & No-Shows

• The client must ensure timely access to the booking location (home, hotel, venue, etc.) at the agreed start time.
• If the Artist is unable to begin the service on time due to the client, venue staff, or access issues (e.g., delayed entry, unavailable room, security delays), the appointment time may be reduced to avoid delays to subsequent bookings, with no reduction in fee.
• If the Artist is required to wait more than 15 minutes, the Artist reserves the right to cancel the appointment, and 100% of the service fee will remain payable.
• If the client is not present or cannot be contacted at the agreed location and time, this will be treated as a no-show and charged at 100% of the booking fee and service fee.
• Clients are responsible for providing accurate location details, contact information, and access instructions (e.g., room number, parking details, security procedures).

5.Hygiene & Safety

• All tools and products are sanitised between clients.
• Clients must disclose allergies or sensitivities before the appointment.
• Services may be refused if health or safety is at risk.

5. Travel & Location

• Travel fees may apply outside the Artist’s base area.
• Parking or toll fees are payable by the client.

6. Photography & Marketing

• Photos/videos of the work may be used for portfolio and marketing unless you opt out in writing before your appointment.

7. Refunds & Liability

• Services are non-refundable once completed.
• The Artist is not liable for allergic reactions unless caused by negligence.
• Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
