Following your treatment, you may experience a number of symptoms such as tenderness, redness, swelling, flaking, dryness and itching. If you are feeling less then 100% healthy, your treatment may take longer to heal, and symptoms may feel more severe. After any procedure, you should use the following regime for 7-10 Days/ until they are healed For eyebrows and lips apply the moisturising balm you were provided at least two times a day with a clean cotton bud (although for eyebrows I recommend to dry heal). If you have oily or normal skin leave your brows to heal on their own. Avoid the treated area when applying makeup and when removing the makeup. DO NOT splash your face with water, if the treated area does get wet, gently pat dry with a clean towel or tissue. DO NOT wipe or rub the area DO NOT expose the treated area to extreme heat or cold until they have fully healed. This includes sunbathing, tanning beds, saunas etc DO NOT apply Vaseline or anything else to the treated area- it will make the area sweat, causing the pigment to heal incorrectly. Vaseline can be used after the healing process and is recommended if you plan to use chlorinated swimming pools or jacuzzi- you should use REMEMBER- the colour will be up to 50% darker straight after your treatment. It will fade over the first 4-7 days, but the true colour won’t come through until up to 4 weeks after the initial treatment. When your eyebrows are healing you may find that it looks as though the colour has disappeared- as the healing skin may obscure the colour for a short time. You would return for a top up between 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment- this can depend on how your skin heals; it is also important to understand some people may need three treatments to get their end goal.
For the first 24 hours, make sure your lashes don’t get wet and avoid any steam, swimming, or washing your face with hot water.
