Please note, your lips will look bolder, stronger and more defined immediately after treatment and will change throughout the next 4 weeks! There may be some unevenness in colour which is why you have a top up to make any necessary adjustments. Normal symptons you may experience for 4 days is swelling, redness and tenderness. The lips will look like they are getting almost darker the first couple of days and then will start to dry and flake off, this can sometimes appear patchy which is normal as this is just part of the healing. Within a week the lips will look like they are losing definition and colour but this will boost back and blossom throughout the next few weeks. •Wipe over the lips with a baby wipe and apply the healing balm frequently throughout the day with a cotton bud (just a thin layer) • Avoid sun, sunbeds, swimming, saunas and treatment for 7 days. • Use a straw for drinking the first few days. • Do not pick as this can cause unevenness & possible infection. • Do not submerge your lips in water for the first week and avoid your healing balm before showers. Try and avoid getting them wet. ***If you suffer with cold sores ever, will need to do a course of acyclovir medication, it is recommended you take 3 days before and 2 days after the treatment. Please refer to dosage on pack. You can get this online, at a pharmacy website or call your GP. As we are causing trauma to the lip there is a chance the treatment cause an outbreak so acyclovir and zovirax cream is recommended***
