Terms & Conditions

I, [The Client] hereby consent to receive massage therapy services from Danny , a self-employed, licensed massage therapist, provided at my location (mobile/outcall service).

**1. Nature of Services**

Massage therapy is provided for the purposes of relaxation, stress reduction, relief of muscular tension, improved circulation, pain relief, and general wellness. It is **not** a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. I understand that massage is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. I will not hold the therapist responsible for any medical outcomes or expectations related to health conditions.

**2. Health Disclosure & Responsibility**

I agree to inform the therapist **fully and honestly** (verbally and/or in writing) of:

- Any current or past medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, or pain

- Any medications, allergies, or skin sensitivities

- Pregnancy or possibility of pregnancy

- Any contagious conditions or recent illnesses

- Any other factors that might affect treatment (e.g., recent vaccinations, pacemakers, blood clots, cancer treatment, etc.)

I understand it is **my responsibility** to consult a physician before receiving massage if I have any health concerns or contraindications. I will immediately notify the therapist of any changes in my health status before or during sessions.

**3. Risks & Possible Effects**

I understand that massage may involve:

- Temporary soreness, bruising, redness, or tenderness (especially after deep tissue work)

- Release of toxins or emotional responses

- Rarely, aggravation of existing conditions

I agree that these are normal responses and I will not hold the therapist liable for such effects unless caused by gross negligence.

**4. Scope of Touch & Boundaries**

Draping will be used at all times to ensure modesty and privacy (only the area being worked on will be undraped). I understand I may ask for adjustments to pressure, technique, or areas of focus at any time, and I may stop the session immediately if I feel uncomfortable.

The therapist reserves the right to **refuse or terminate** any session (without refund) if:

- Inappropriate, sexual, or aggressive behavior occurs

- The environment is unsafe or unsanitary

- Client appears intoxicated or under the influence

- Any other situation compromises professional boundaries or safety

**5. Age of Consent / Minimum Age Requirement **

Services are provided only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of the session. No exceptions will be made for minors (under 18), even with parental or guardian consent. By agreeing to these terms, I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into this agreement. If I am scheduling for someone else, I confirm they meet this age requirement.

**6. Payment & Gratuity**

Services are provided on a cash / digital payment basis. Gratuity is appreciated but never expected or required.

**7. Limitation of Liability & Release**

In consideration of receiving massage services, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Danny, my heirs, assigns, or representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from any injury, damage, loss, or harm (physical, emotional, or otherwise) that may occur during or after the massage session, **except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct**.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with receiving massage therapy and agree that this release shall be binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

**8. Independent Contractor Status**

Danny is a self-employed independent contractor, not an employee of any company or agency. I understand services are provided directly between myself and the therapist.

**9. Governing Law**

This agreement shall be governed by U.K. law

I have read, understood, and agree to all the above terms and conditions. I have had the opportunity to ask questions and my questions have been answered to my satisfaction.
