Please follow the aftercare advice below to help your gel or BIAB nails last as long as possible and keep your natural nails healthy.

Aftercare Advice

For the first 24 hours:

• Avoid long baths, saunas, steam rooms or very hot water.
• Avoid using oils, lotions or fake tan directly around the nails straight away.
• Be gentle with your nails while they fully settle.

To help your nails last:

• Apply cuticle oil daily.
• Wear gloves when cleaning, washing up or using chemicals.
• Do not pick, peel or bite your gel/BIAB.
• Avoid using your nails as tools to open cans, scratch labels or pick at things.
• Keep your nails at a length that suits your lifestyle.

If you notice lifting:

Please don’t pick or glue the nail down. Message me as soon as possible so I can advise you. Picking product off can damage your natural nails.

Removal:

Gel and BIAB should be removed professionally. Please do not pull, peel or file the product off at home, as this can cause thinning and damage to the natural nail.

Reactions or discomfort:

If you experience redness, itching, swelling, burning, pain or irritation around the nails, please contact me and seek medical advice if needed.

Recommended maintenance:

BIAB/infill appointments are usually recommended every 2–3 weeks, depending on your nail growth and lifestyle.
