Floral Beauty Room – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients of Floral Beauty Room, located within Structure, Eastgate Square, Pickering.

By booking an appointment with Floral Beauty Room, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & Bookings

- All treatments are available by appointment only. - Appointments can be booked through our online booking system, by contacting Floral Beauty Room directly or through our social media channels. - Please ensure that all contact details provided when booking are accurate and kept up to date. - When booking an appointment through our online booking system, you are required to enter valid card details to secure your appointment. - No deposit or payment is taken at the time of booking. Your card details are securely held by the booking system. - Your card will only be charged where a cancellation or no-show fee applies in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. - By entering your card details and completing your booking, you agree to the cancellation and no-show policy outlined below. - Payment for your treatment is normally made in full at the end of your appointment.

2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

- We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. - If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time, you will be charged 100% of the treatment price to the card details provided when booking. - If you fail to attend your appointment without contacting Floral Beauty Room, you will be charged 100% of the treatment price to the card details provided when booking. - Any late cancellation or no-show charge is non-refundable once processed. - We understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can happen. Certain circumstances will be considered on an individual basis, and Floral Beauty Room reserves the right to waive or reduce the charge where appropriate. - If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Providing more notice allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client. - Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in future appointments requiring payment in advance or Floral Beauty Room declining future bookings.

3. Late Arrivals

- Please arrive on time for your appointment. - If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your treatment may need to be shortened or, where there is insufficient time to safely complete the treatment, your appointment may be cancelled. - The full treatment price may still be payable where a treatment cannot be completed due to a late arrival. - We will always do our best to provide as much of your treatment as possible, but late arrivals can affect both your treatment and the appointments of other clients.

4. Payments

We currently accept:

- Cash - Card - Bank transfer

We do not accept cheques.

- Payment is required in full at the end of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance. - Where a late cancellation or no-show charge applies, the card details provided when booking may be charged 100% of the treatment price. - No deposit is currently required when making a booking.

5. Refunds & Treatment Concerns

- Due to the nature of beauty treatments and services, refunds are not generally offered once a treatment has been completed. - If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment, please contact Floral Beauty Room within 24 hours so that we can discuss your concerns. - Where appropriate, we may offer a suitable correction. Corrections are assessed on an individual basis and are not guaranteed. - Refunds or complimentary corrections will not normally be offered where recommended aftercare has not been followed. - Late cancellation and no-show charges are non-refundable, except where Floral Beauty Room agrees otherwise due to exceptional circumstances.

6. Health, Medical Conditions & Allergies

- Clients must inform Floral Beauty Room of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, medications or other circumstances that may affect their treatment before the treatment begins. - You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during your consultation. - Certain treatments require a patch test before they can be carried out. - Where a patch test is required, the treatment cannot be performed without the required test having been completed within the appropriate timeframe. - We reserve the right to refuse, postpone or modify a treatment if we believe it is not suitable or safe to proceed. - If your health circumstances change between appointments, please inform us before your treatment.

7. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Treatment

Floral Beauty Room reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment where necessary, including but not limited to:

- Late arrival - Inappropriate, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour - Health or safety concerns - Failure to provide relevant medical or treatment information - Failure to follow salon policies or instructions - Any situation where the therapist believes it is unsafe or inappropriate to continue

Abusive, threatening or intimidating behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated.

8. Children & Additional Guests

- Due to the amount of professional products, equipment and treatment materials within the salon, the salon is not suitable for children. - Children must not be left unattended within the salon or treatment area. - Additional guests should not attend appointments unless this has been agreed with Floral Beauty Room in advance. - We appreciate your understanding that this policy is in place to protect the health and safety of clients, children and staff.

9. Personal Belongings

- Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings while visiting Floral Beauty Room. - Please keep valuables and personal items with you wherever possible. - Floral Beauty Room accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

10. Hygiene & Safety

- Floral Beauty Room maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation. - Appropriate cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed between clients and treatments. - Clients are expected to follow reasonable hygiene and safety instructions given by their therapist. - Please inform your therapist if you feel uncomfortable, unwell or experience any unexpected reaction during your treatment. - Please follow any aftercare advice provided following your treatment.

11. Treatment Results

- Results can vary between individuals depending on factors including skin type, hair type, lifestyle, previous treatments and aftercare. - Photographs shown on our website or social media are for illustrative purposes and may not represent the exact result you will achieve. - No specific treatment result can be guaranteed. - Following the recommended aftercare can help you achieve and maintain the best possible results.

12. Photography & Social Media

- Photographs or videos may be taken during or after your treatment for portfolio, promotional or social media purposes only with your consent. - You can withdraw your consent for future photographs at any time. - We will not knowingly publish photographs or videos of you without the appropriate permission.

13. Privacy & Personal Information

- Personal information provided to Floral Beauty Room may be used for purposes including appointment management, consultation, treatment records and salon communication. - Your information will be handled responsibly and kept confidential, subject to any legal requirements. - Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent. - Card details entered through the online booking system are securely processed by the booking/payment provider. Floral Beauty Room does not retain clients' full card details separately.

14. Gift Vouchers & Promotions

- Gift vouchers and promotional offers are subject to any specific terms stated at the time of purchase. - Promotional offers cannot normally be combined unless otherwise stated. - Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash. - Floral Beauty Room reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotional offers where necessary. - Specific expiry dates or conditions relating to individual gift vouchers or promotions will apply where stated at the time of purchase.

15. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

Floral Beauty Room reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.

The most recent version will be available on our website and will apply to current and future bookings from the date of publication.
