hi babes! before booking your appointment, please take a quick read through my salon policies. these are here to keep things running smoothly and to make sure every client gets the best experience possible. by booking with gels by elise, you agree to the following:
💻 booking policy
- all appointments must now be made through solo, my official booking system.
- please make sure your details (name, contact info etc.) are correct when booking so i can send reminders and updates.
- i do not currently require a deposit — however, by booking, you are agreeing to my full cancellation and no-show policies below.
🕒 lateness policy
- please arrive on time for your appointment so we can make the most of your slot.
- if you are 10–15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened.
- if you are 20 minutes late or more, this will be classed as a no-show, and you will be charged the full amount for your service.
❌ cancellation & rescheduling policy
- you must give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- if you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours, you will be charged 50% of your service total.
- if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, or fail to attend (no-show), you will be charged 100% of your service total.
- clients who no-show twice may be refused future bookings.
- this policy is in place because last-minute changes leave little time to fill your slot. thank you for understanding! 🤍
💅 repair & refund policy
- i offer a 24-hour grace period after your appointment. if your nails chip or lift within 24 hours, i will fix them free of charge.
- after 24 hours, repair availability is not guaranteed and may require booking a fresh appointment if needed.
- refunds are not offered once the service is complete, but if you’re unhappy for any reason, please contact me within 48 hours so i can help resolve it.
💖 aftercare & responsibility
- aftercare advice is provided after every appointment — please follow it carefully to maintain your nails.
- gels by elise is not responsible for any damage caused by picking, misuse, or lack of aftercare.
- infills are recommended every 3–4 weeks depending on growth.
- after four consecutive infills, a fresh full set will be required to maintain nail health and product integrity.
🪷 health & safety
- please inform me of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions before your appointment.
- all products are high-quality and uk-standard, but i cannot be held liable for allergic reactions if this information isn’t disclosed.
📸 photos & social media
- by booking, you agree to allow photos/videos of your nails to be taken for use on my social media pages (@gels.byelise).
- if you’d prefer not to be photographed, please just let me know before your appointment — no worries at all!
💬 salon environment
- please come alone to your appointment (no guests or children) unless discussed beforehand.
- rude or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of future services.
- i aim to create a calm, comfortable space for every client 💅
