1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all clients receiving nail or beauty treatments (“Services”) provided by Glossed by Erin (“the Technician,” “I,” or “me”).

By booking or receiving a treatment, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Training Status

Glossed by Erin is currently operated by a nail technician in training.

All Services are provided for practice and experience purposes and may not reflect the standards of a fully qualified professional.

By agreeing to receive a treatment, you acknowledge and accept that the work is carried out by a trainee and results may vary.

3. Client Acknowledgement and Consent

By booking an appointment, you confirm that:

• You understand treatments are performed by a trainee.
• You consent to receive these Services at your own risk.
• You have disclosed any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities that may affect the treatment.
• You understand that Glossed by Erin cannot guarantee specific results or longevity of treatments.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Glossed by Erin, including the Technician and any associated persons, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or allergic reaction arising from treatments performed.
• Clients choose to receive treatments voluntarily and at their own discretion.
• Clients release Glossed by Erin from all liability in relation to any claim, damage, or expense that may occur as a result of services provided.

You accept that treatments are performed using products and equipment that are suitable for training purposes, and that Glossed by Erin takes all reasonable precautions to ensure hygiene and safety.

5. Property and Parking

Clients attending appointments on the premises do so at their own risk.

Glossed by Erin does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property while on the premises.

Parking is available for client convenience, but all vehicles are parked at the owner’s own risk. Glossed by Erin accepts no liability for damage, loss, or theft of vehicles or belongings.

6. Appointment Policy

• Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment.
• Cancellations should be made with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• No-shows or repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

7. Photography and Social Media

With your consent, photos or videos of treatments may be taken and shared on Glossed by Erin’s social media platforms (e.g. Instagram: @glossedbyerin) for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to have your images shared, please inform the Technician before or during your appointment.

8. Health and Safety

If you experience discomfort, irritation, or an adverse reaction during or after a treatment, please inform the Technician immediately.

Glossed by Erin reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service if a client’s condition poses a health or safety risk.

9. Agreement

By booking and attending your appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

You accept that all services are provided at your own risk and that you waive any right to claim against Glossed by Erin in respect of injury, loss, or damage arising from your treatment or visit.

Client Declaration

I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Glossed by Erin. I understand that services are provided by a nail technician in training and I accept full responsibility for any outcome.
