Terms and Conditions – Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Confirmation Appointments may be booked without an initial deposit. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Deposit Requirement Following the booking of your appointment, you will be contacted within seven (7) days after booking with details on how to submit a deposit via bank transfer. This deposit is required to secure your appointment.
3. Failure to Pay Deposit All deposits must be received no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled appointment time. If the deposit has not been paid within this timeframe, the appointment will be cancelled automatically without further notice.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling Clients must provide a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice given within less than 48 hours of the appointment may result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid.
5. Agreement to Terms By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Client Expectations & Hair History Disclaimer

By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms regarding hair goals, expectations, and previous hair history:

1. Hair History Transparency Clients must provide an honest and complete history of their hair, including (but not limited to):

• Previous colouring (box dye, salon colour, toners)
• Chemical treatments (bleach, perms, relaxers, keratin treatments)
• Use of henna or metallic salts
• At-home treatments or damage

Failure to disclose accurate hair history may affect the final result and the condition of the hair.

2. Realistic Expectations While every effort is made to achieve your desired look, results cannot be guaranteed in one session. Outcomes depend on:

• Previous colour build-up
• Hair condition and integrity
• Natural base colour
• Uneven or corrective colour work

Some transformations require multiple sessions to maintain hair health and achieve the desired result safely.

3. Hair Health First Policy The condition of your hair is always the top priority. If your hair cannot safely achieve the desired result in one appointment, an alternative plan will be recommended. This may include:

• A toned-down version of your goal
• A staged colouring process
• Treatments to improve hair strength before proceeding

4. No Guarantee of Exact Matches Inspiration photos are used as a guide only. Due to differences in hair type, history, and condition, an exact match may not be achievable.

5. Corrective Colour Work Corrective services (including colour correction from previous dye or uneven results) are more complex and may:

• Require additional time and cost
• Need multiple appointments
• Produce gradual results rather than instant changes

6. Refusal of Service The stylist reserves the right to refuse or modify a service if it is deemed unsafe for the hair or unrealistic to achieve in one session.

7. Maintenance Commitment Some results require ongoing maintenance (toners, treatments, root touch-ups). Clients will be advised on upkeep and expected timelines.
