Founded in South Africa in 1988, Bio Sculpture pioneered the gel manicure movement. To this day, it remains a favourite for celebrities because of it's thin application, high pigment, and variety of base gels to accommodate all nail types.
If you've struggled with poor retention, are not happy with other gel brands, or want to give your nails a break from the heavier nail enhancements, Bio Sculpture might be for you!
Unlike other Bio Sculpture manicurists, I incorporate a Russian manicure prep routine into all treatments. This means the treatments take a bit more time, but it creates a perfect photo-ready result.

Gemini Manicure - this uses nail varnish rather than gel polish. The results don't last as long, but if you don't want a gel product on your nails this is a great alternative.
Gel Manicure - the standard 'base, colour, colour, top' procedure. It's the thinnest manicure possible for a nail polish look that lasts, but no strength is added.
Structured/Builder Gel Manicure - a slightly thicker, stronger manicure. Uses a base gel plus a builder layer to add strength before the colour. The Bio Sculpture builder gels are themselves slightly coloured in a variety of nude/pink or white shades so you can pick the one you like most and not need an additional colour coat.
Additionally, there are Russian Manicure and Gel Extensions options.
All treatments include a Russian Manicure (a specific type of prep that achieves the perfect photo-ready results shown in my pictures) but you can just have this treatment on it's own if you wish!
Or if you want extensions, you can choose Gel Extensions under the Manicure Treatments section.
All treatments assume solid colour. If you want French/Minimal design or Complex design please add the appropriate option to your booking from the Design Add-ons section.
This ensures the correct amount of time is allocated to your appointment and you get the most from your treatment.

I used to get my nails done in various high street salons just for special occasions because each time I had them done, I was left with painful cuts on my cuticles which sometimes got infected or damage to my nails from being filled so thin. My last experience with a high street salon was terrible and left me with very painful fingers which lasted a couple of weeks. I was put off getting my nails done again till I saw Madelaine’s advert. I contacted her and discussed my concerns given my last experience. She was so understanding and made me feel at ease. She always takes her time and takes pride in her work. She’s really friendly super responsive on message and chatty about possible about future sets of nails and what’s possible. What can I say? An afternoon spent with Maddie has changed my hands and nails (and she hopes, my life). I received care, attention, advice, science, a beautiful manicure, a takeaway goidy bag and a stern warning to wear gloves. I avoid gloves like the plague when I can as I dont like the feeling of them and frankly cant be bothered with the faff (but then again I run a 'shoes on' household, so you know I am already much judged). I could never grow my nails to the length I wanted, but now they're much healthier and longer. Maddie has a keen attention to detail with her work and takes time to perfect your nails through every step. This consultation is designed for new clients who are hoping to be able to use gels again following a confirmed or suspected gel allergy.
