Get plenty of rest after a treatment Keep any sore muscles warm Gentle stretching can help stiff muscles
Use cuticle oil and moisturise daily Do not pick or pull at and gel polish Avoid using nails as tools Wash hands after applying sun creams or swimming in chlorine - this can cause lifting
Do not pick or pull at lashes Avoid getting them wet for 24-48 hours No make up/mascara for 24-48 hours Brush through lashes daily to keep them straight Use a lash conditioning serum to keep them healthy Book your next appointment in 6+ weeks time
Avoid heat treatments for 24 hours (steam/sauna) After 2-5 days post treatment Continue to exfoliate and moisturise the skin to help prevent ingrown hairs No tight clothing Try not to touch the area too much to avoid spreading bacteria Our skin is extremely delicate & thin on our eyelids/under brows or face and bikini line. So sometimes skin lifting can occur. It is not a burn! The effect of waxing/sugaring when using certain skin products/medications/personal changes such as : - Retinol - AHA - Retin- A - Steroid Creams - Acne Creams - Over the counter skin products containing the above - Weather change - Hormone change - Antibiotics - Smoking - Pregnancy - Rosacea - Blood thinners - Some exfoliators - Excessive caffeine - Sunbeds - Run down / Illness - some medications - Allergic It is normal and can happen at any time during your appointment. If skin-lifting happens, the best thing to do is apply Aloe Vera Gel or Bepanthen to the area and keep it clean. The area will go pinkish in colour / dry, flakey & tender this will reduce and pretty much go away after 3 days or could take longer.
