By booking an appointment with Happy Lash Co Townsville, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to ensure a safe, professional, and efficient experience for all clients.
1. Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations
- Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee is credited towards your final service cost.
- 24-Hour Notice for Changes: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment without penalty. This allows us time to offer the slot to clients on our waitlist.
- Late Cancellations & No-Shows:
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of your booking fee.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the service price, which must be paid before any future appointments can be accepted.
- Lateness: Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to perform the full treatment, and the full service fee will still apply, or your appointment may be cancelled, resulting in a forfeited booking fee.
2. Service Policies and Preparation
- Clean Lashes: You must arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes. This includes no mascara, eyeliner, or facial moisturisers, as residue prevents proper adhesive bonding and retention.
- If your lashes require cleaning upon arrival, this time will be deducted from your application time, resulting in fewer extensions being applied.
- Refill Requirements: To qualify for a refill, you must have at least 30% of your lash extensions remaining. Appointments with less than 30% retention or those booked after 4 weeks will be charged as a full set.
- Foreign Fills: We generally do not infill work done by other salons due to variations in products and application techniques. Please contact us prior to booking to access lashes, case by case basis. 
3. Health, Hygiene, and Liability
- Allergies and Medical Conditions: It is your responsibility to disclose any known allergies, eye conditions, or health changes prior to your appointment.
- Patch Tests: Patch tests are available upon request at least 48 hours before your appointment. You understand that opting out of a patch test means you proceed at your own risk, and Happy Lash Co Townsville takes no responsibility for allergic reactions that may occur.
- Infection Control: We adhere to strict hygiene and infection control guidelines as required by Queensland Health regulations. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with a contagious condition (e.g., conjunctivitis, cold sores).
- No Refunds: Due to the nature of the service and the products used, we do not offer refunds on services rendered.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are unhappy with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment.
4. Salon Environment
- No Extra Guests or Children: For safety reasons, insurance guidelines, and to ensure a relaxing experience for all clients, please do not bring friends, family, or pets to your appointment.
- Phone Usage: Please keep your phone on silent during your appointment and avoid using it, as talking and eye movement can interfere with the precision of the application.
