Try not to rub or massage the treatment area for 24 hours.
Cleanse your face gently in the evening after treatment, without rubbing the treatment area.
Do not apply makeup for 4 hours following treatment.
Avoid physical exercise and saunas on the day of treatment.
What to Expect after treatment
The results of the treatment can be seen within a week. Maximum effect may not be seen until 4 weeks after the treatment.
The treatment can be effective for up to 4 months after injection.
Allow at least 3 months between treatments.
After injection the area may have some slight redness and swelling, which normally resolves within an hour. This is normal and to be expected.
Contact your healthcare practitioner immediately if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction.
Avoid Aspirin, Motrin, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any other essential fatty acids for at least 1 week after treatment.
Do not touch, press, rub or manipulate the injected areas for at least 6 hours after treatment.
Avoid vigorous exercise, sun, and heat exposure for 2 days after treatment.
Avoid the use of Retinol or similar products for 2 days after treatment.
Avoid cosmetic treatments such as laser, ultrasounds, peels, facial or micro-dermabrasian for 2 weeks after your treatment.
Try to avoid wearing makeup until the day after your treatment.
If you have had any cold sores or oral perpetic infection in the past, any treatment to your face may trigger reactivation.
What to Expect after treatment
The results of the treatment are expected to last between 6 months to 1 year.
After treatment you may experience mild redness, swelling or tenderness. This is normal and to be expected. Bruising may also occur just after injection.
Please contact your healthcare practitioner without delay if you experience any of the following after your treatment:
- Any eye pain or visual disturbance.
- Discoloured blotches, which may look like a spreading bruise.
- Skin blanching, which may look like areas of skin whitening.
- Severe or increasing levels of pain.
- Pustules and/or blisters.
- If skin becomes red, inflamed and hot to the touch.
- If skin becomes increasingly swollen or increasingly itchy.
Avoid putting any makeup or heavy products on the area for 24 hours. Wear SPF for 72 hours post treatment.
No excessive heat such as Gyms/ Saunas/ Steam rooms/ Hot Showers and baths for 48 hours.
Avoid travelling abroad for 48 hours.
Try not to touch or massage the injected area.
Refrain from consuming alcohol or caffeine or any NSAID medications for 24 hours post treatment.

If you experience any redness, swelling, or discomfort, you may apply a cold compress to the affected area for 10-15 minutes at a time, as needed.
Contact your healthcare practitioner immediately if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction.
Avoid sun exposure and apply broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 every day for at least a week after your treatment.
Do not apply any makeup or other skincare products to your treated skin for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
Do not pick at, scratch, or rub the treated area for at least 48 hours after your treatment.
Avoid strenuous exercise, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms for at least 48 hours after your treatment.
Cleanse your treated skin gently with a mild, non-abrasive cleanser and lukewarm water.
Apply a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturiser to your treated skin to prevent dryness and irritation.
If you experience any redness, swelling, or discomfort, you may apply a cold compress to the affected area for 10-15 minutes at a time, as needed.
It is normal to experience some mild redness, swelling, and discomfort after your treatment. This should subside within a few days.
