Welcome to HM Aesthetics. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
These policies are in place to ensure that every client receives the best possible experience and that appointments run smoothly and professionally.
1. Appointments & Bookings
- All appointments must be booked in advance via our official booking system, social media links, or directly with a member of the HM Aesthetics team.
- Upon booking, you will receive confirmation via email or text message. Please check this carefully to ensure all details are correct.
- You must be aged 18 or over to receive most treatments unless otherwise stated. Proof of age may be required.
2. Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. The deposit amount varies depending on the treatment.
- Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment at your appointment.
- Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
- Remaining balances can be paid via cash, card, or other accepted payment methods at your appointment.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens, but please respect our time and policy:
- At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, your deposit will be forfeited.
- No-shows or same-day cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit and may require full payment for future bookings.
- Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.
4. Late Arrivals
- Please arrive on time for your appointment.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late, your treatment time may be reduced or your appointment may be cancelled at the discretion of the practitioner.
- Late arrivals that cannot be accommodated will be treated as a missed appointment, and the deposit will be forfeited.
5. Patch Tests & Contraindications
- Certain treatments (such as brow tinting, lash lifts, and polynucleotide treatments) require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
- Failure to complete a patch test within the required time frame will result in your appointment being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
- It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and medications before treatment. HM Aesthetics cannot be held liable for reactions that occur due to withheld information.
6. Treatment Results
- Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed.
- HM Aesthetics is committed to achieving the best results possible but accepts no responsibility for outcomes that differ from client expectations once the agreed treatment has been performed.
- Before-and-after photos may be taken (with client consent) for treatment records or marketing purposes.
7. Refunds & Complaints
- Deposits and payments are non-refundable, except where HM Aesthetics cancels your appointment.
- If you are unhappy with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so that we can review and address your concerns.
- We do not offer refunds on completed treatments or products unless deemed faulty or unsatisfactory under consumer law.
8. Health & Safety
- HM Aesthetics follows strict hygiene and sanitation protocols for all treatments.
- Clients must follow all pre- and post-treatment care instructions provided.
- If you arrive with a contagious condition (e.g. cold sores, eye infection, or open wounds), your appointment may be rescheduled for health and safety reasons.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
- All client information is stored securely and used only for treatment and booking purposes.
- We comply with GDPR and will never share your personal data with third parties without consent.
