Gel Nails & Extensions - TGB Aftercare DO’s - Be especially careful in the first 24 hours after application and avoid intense heat during this period (e.g. saunas, hot bath, or sunbeds). - Use cuticle oil daily to keep your nails nourished, to stimulate growth and prevent lifting. - Always wear rubber gloves when washing up, cleaning or gardening. - Always wash your hands thoroughly after being in contact with chlorine, insect repellant or sunscreen. - Always return to salon for maintenance and removal and follow any advice given to you by your nail technician. DONT’S - Avoid long periods of time in water (e.g. long baths, swimming, washing up). - Do not use your nails as tools (e.g. screwdriver) as this could lead to cracking. - Never pick or peel the product off as this could damage your natural nail. - Avoid filing your nails and pushing your cuticles back, as this will break the seal of the gel and can lead to chipping. Eyebrow, Lashes, Brow Lamination & Lash Lift - Waiting 24 hours after treatment before showering. Getting water on the brows (including shower steam) can affect the lamination, leading to an unsatisfying result. - To avoid getting the brows wet, you should also refrain from the following activities: swimming, saunas, excessive exercise (to avoid sweat) and facial treatments. Be careful when washing your face for the first 24 hours and avoid oil-based makeup and skincare. Facials After a facial treatment, it's important to avoid wearing makeup for 6-8 hours to allow the skin to benefit fully from the products used and to prevent blocked pores. It's best to avoid other facial treatments for 48 hours and to take care of your skin by avoiding sun exposure and using SPF sunscreen. Between facials, it's recommended to cleanse, tone, and moisturize daily, use sunscreen, and maintain a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and plenty of water. Waxing Avoid activities such as saunas, hot tubs, massages, or steam treatments. Tanning, sunbathing, sun beds, or fake tans also are not allowed for 24/48 hrs It's best to stay away from vigorous exercise or sports. Avoid scratch or touching the treated area with unwashed hands. We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothes and avoiding swimming in chlorinated pools. Don't use: Deodorants, body sprays, powders, lotions, or any other products in the area
