Age Requirements: Due to insurance policies, Hygge Beauty is unable to perform treatments on anyone under the age of 18 years old.
Previous Work: Hygge Beauty does not remove any previous work that has been given by other beauticians / nail techs. Any such work must be removed prior to your appointment.
Premise Rules: The salon is at the end of my garden and whilst I try to be as inclusive as possible, there are a few steps towards the building. Please bear this in mind when booking. Children of any age are not permitted in the salon. This is for their safety as there are products and equipment that can be harmful should they be mistreated or used unprofessionally. This also includes pets.
Nail Repairs: Hygge Beauty is more than happy to repair nails that have become damaged within the first 72 hours of your appointment. Any damage incurred after this time will need to be paid for at £3 a nail.
Payments / Deposits: Payments are to be made prior to leaving the salon by cash or card. This includes any retail products you may purchase at the time of your appointment.
Deposits: A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your appointment. This is a non-refundable deposit and will be taken off at the end of your appointment. Should you wish to reschedule and request this with more than 48 hours notice to your appointment, then the deposit can be transferred (subject to salon discretion). Repeat rescheduling will forfeit the original deposit and the booking process will start again.
Cancellations: Please note, I hold a strict cancellation policy. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required when cancelling your appointment. The time booked out for you is reserved for your exclusive use.
Should you need to cancel / reschedule, please give a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your appointment. Deposits can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment should you request this (subject to salon discretion). Repeat rescheduling will forfeit your original deposit and the booking process will start again.
Cancellations / rescheduling after the 48 hours will forfeit the non-refundable deposit and a new one will be required before making a new booking. This includes sickness.
Repeat cancellations / rescheduling may lead to the forfeiture of the ability to book again.
I understand that circumstances change and some situations are unavoidable, so I will work with you as much as possible.
