Terms & Conditions

1. Treatment Requirements

To ensure a safe and professional mobile service, the following conditions apply:

  • Adequate space must be provided to safely set up the massage table (approximately 2m x 2.5m).
  • The area must be clean, warm, well-lit, and free from hazards.
  • Parking must be reasonably accessible.
  • The therapist reserves the right to refuse or end a treatment if the environment is unsafe or inappropriate.

All necessary equipment is provided, including a professional massage table, towels, blanket, and oils.

2. Appointments & Bookings

All appointments must be booked in advance. By booking a treatment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please ensure that all contact details provided are accurate and up to date.

3. Cancellation Policy (48 Hours’ Notice Required)

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged at 50% of the treatment fee.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment, may be charged at 100% of the treatment fee.

This policy is in place to respect appointment availability and business scheduling.

4. Health & Medical Information

Clients must provide accurate and complete health information prior to treatment, including any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications.

Massage therapy may not be suitable for certain conditions. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the therapist of:

  • Recent surgeries or injuries
  • Cardiovascular conditions
  • Cancer diagnoses or ongoing treatment
  • Pregnancy
  • Skin conditions or infections
  • Any other medical concerns

If unsure, clients are advised to seek approval from their GP or medical professional prior to booking. Treatments may be adapted, postponed, or declined where necessary for safety reasons.

5. Health & Safety

All treatments are carried out in accordance with professional health, hygiene, and safety standards.

  • Clean towels and equipment are provided for every client.
  • Equipment is sanitised between appointments.
  • Clients must inform the therapist immediately if they experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any adverse reaction during treatment.

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if health and safety is compromised.

6. Professional Conduct

Massage therapy is strictly professional and therapeutic.

  • Any inappropriate behaviour, language, or suggestions will result in the immediate termination of the session.
  • In such circumstances, the full treatment fee will still apply.
  • The therapist reserves the right to refuse future bookings where professional boundaries are not respected.

Mutual respect at all times is expected.

7. Liability

While every care is taken to ensure treatments are safe and effective:

  • Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • The therapist accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from failure to disclose relevant health information.
  • Clients receive treatment at their own risk and are responsible for communicating any discomfort during the session.

All treatments are provided in good faith and in line with professional training, insurance requirements, and national standards.

8. Payment

Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed in advance. Late payments may result in refusal of future appointments.
