Osteopathic techniques, cupping, acupuncture and assisted stretching are some of the modalities used to help aid with workout recovery and assist with healing injuries. Alternatively, if you’re feeling a bit burnt out and stressed from the hustle and bustle of life, therapies including face and Indian head massage are offered to help downregulate the central nervous system.
Kerry has been working as a sports massage therapist since 2018 to combine her passions of being able to help people and her love for martial arts! Her schedule consists of training as an amateur MMA fighter and remedying her teammates and gym members’ injuries to help them perform their best in the cage, in the ring and on the mats. Through this she has a lot of hands-on experience with the myriad of acute and chronic injuries that come with being an MMA fighter.
Having previously worked in the corporate world, she understands the various aches and pains that come with working long hours being deskbound whilst trying to maintain an active lifestyle and how frustrating it can be when you feel like you can’t get rid of that nagging pain. The pre-treatment consultation allows Kerry to hone in on each client’s specific needs to be able to provide personalised care in each session.
With a keen interest in holistic wellness, Kerry has extended her service availability past the popular sports and remedial massage, deep tissue massage and back, neck and shoulders massage to also incorporate therapies for wellness that she has seen direct benefit from. Therapies like manual lymphatic drainage, acupuncture, microneedling, cupping and vitamin injections have made a big impact on her wellness journey and wanted to make them available to her clients!
