Infrared sauna Aftercare

* Cool down - Allow your body to gradually return to normal by spending a few minutes in fresh air. * Hydrate- Drink plenty of water to replenish fluids and electrolytes lost through sweating. You can also try coconut water, which is rich in electrolytes and contains no added sugars or artificial ingredients. * Eat a nutritious meal - If you feel hungry after an infrared sauna session its because of the increased circulatory activity and burned calories. Try eating good nutrients like leafy greens, nuts, bananas, or fruits high in water like pineapple or watermelon. * Relax - Let your body relax after a session try meditation, or relax with a book. * Take care of your skin - Wash off toxins and sweat with a warm shower, then follow up with a cool rinse to close your pores. Avoid using chemical laden soaps and finish with a nice moisturizer


Facial aftercare

*Avoid touching your face as you can transfer bacteria into the skin *Avoid makeup for at least 12-24 hrs and make sure all your brushes are clean *Avoid direct sunlight immediately after your facial *Do not exfoliate or use harsh products on your skin for up to 7 days *Avoid heat treatments such as sauna and steam or sun beds for at least 7 days *Avoid swimming for 7 days *Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins * Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol * Sleep on a clean pillowcase and clean your phone screen * If you experience any painful blisters or redness and irritation contact your skin therapist straight away
