1. Booking & Deposits • All appointments must be booked in advance. • A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required to secure your appointment. • Booking fees are deducted from the final service total. • Appointments are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received. Under UK consumer law, booking fees are permitted to cover loss of earnings if cancellation terms are breached
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy • A minimum of [24/48] hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule. • Cancellations made with less than [24/48] hours' notice will result in loss of booking fee. •No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment cost before any future bookings can be made. •If you arrive more than 10-15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and your booking fee may be forfeited. This policy protects my time as a self-employed professional.
3. Payments • Remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment. • Accepted payment methods: Cash / Bank Transfer / Card. • Prices are subject to change without notice.
4. Age Policy • Clients must be 16+ for gel services. • Under 18s must have parental/guardian consent. • I reserve the right to request proof of age.
5. Health, Safety & Contraindications ients must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, injuries, infections, or nail disorders before treatment. reserve the right to refuse or stop a service if there are signs of fungal infection, open wounds, or any condition that may make treatment unsafe. By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. All tools are fully sanitised in accordance with UK hygiene standards.
6. Home Salon Policy As this is a home-based salon: • Please attend your appointment alone unless agreed otherwise. • No children or additional guests due to insurance and safety reasons. • Please arrive at your scheduled time (not early) as there is no waiting area. • Respect for my home and neighbours is appreciated.
7. Repairs & Refunds • If you experience lifting or breakages, please contact me within 48 hours with clear photographs. • Repairs within 3-5 days may be offered free of charge at my discretion. • No refunds are given once a service has been completed, in line with UK hygiene regulations for personal services. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
8. Aftercare Aftercare advice will be provided. I am not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow aftercare
9. Personal Belongings I cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during your appointment.
10. Photography & Social Media Photographs of completed work may be taken for portfolio and promotional use. Please inform me if you do not consent to photos being used.
11. Agreement By booking an appointment with K Luxe Beauty, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
