Terms & Conditions — Waxing, Lash, and Massage Services
1. General Policies
- All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving any service.
- By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- Clients must be 18+, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian and with written consent.
- The service provider reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for safety, hygiene, or compliance reasons.
2. Appointments & Cancellations
- A valid contact number or email is required to secure an appointment.
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24–48 hours before your appointment (adjust time based on preference).
- Late cancellations may incur a fee of 20% of the service cost.
- No-shows may be charged 100% of the booked service or may require a deposit for future bookings.
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or canceled and may be charged accordingly.
3. Health, Safety, & Contraindications
Please inform your therapist/artist if you have:
- Allergies
- Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, sunburn, infections)
- Eye conditions (for lash services)
- Recent surgeries or injuries
- Pregnancy (some services may be modified)
- Medications including Retin-A, Accutane, antibiotics, steroids, blood thinners
Certain conditions may prevent treatment for your safety.
Failure to disclose medical information may result in adverse reactions for which the client accepts full responsibility.
4. Waxing Terms
- Hair must be at least 1/4 inch (6mm) long for best results.
- Clients should avoid sun exposure, tanning, exfoliants, and retinoids 48 hours before and after waxing.
- Some redness, sensitivity, or minor bumps are normal after waxing.
- Clients must follow all aftercare instructions to minimize risks such as ingrown hairs or irritation.
5. Lash Extension & Lash Lift Terms
- A patch test is recommended 24–48 hours before the appointment.
- Clients must arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes.
- Lash retention varies and is affected by aftercare, natural lash cycle, skincare, and lifestyle.
- No refunds are given for retention issues, but a 8-hour complimentary fix period may be offered at the provider’s discretion.
- Mascara, oil-based products, and excessive rubbing may damage lash extensions.
6. Massage Therapy Terms
- Massage is non-sexual. Any inappropriate behavior results in immediate termination of the session and possible refusal of future service.
- Clients experiencing fever, contagious illness, or active infection should reschedule.
- Deep tissue pressure may cause temporary soreness; this is normal and not grounds for refund.
7. Refunds & Payments
- All sales are final.
- No refunds are offered on services already rendered.
- Deposits (if required) are non-refundable unless the provider cancels the appointment.
- Gift cards/vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable unless stated otherwise.
8. Hygiene & Conduct
- The treatment area is kept clean and sanitized according to industry standards.
- Clients must maintain personal hygiene for safety and comfort.
- Disruptive or unsafe behavior will result in refusal of service.
9. Liability Waiver
By receiving services, the client acknowledges and agrees that:
- All treatments carry inherent risks.
- Results vary per person and are not guaranteed.
- The provider is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed medical conditions, improper aftercare, or previously unknown sensitivities.
10. Photography & Social Media (Optional)
- Before/after photos may be taken for record and training purposes.
- Photos will only be used on social media with the client’s consent.
11. Agreement
By booking or receiving services, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
