My recent facial with Sadia was one the best hollistic beauty treatments I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. She was very thoughtful, thorough and gave me great tips, aftercare and recommended products for my future skincare. As I entered Higher Ground, I was greeted by the beautiful smile of Sadia, which immediately made me feel happy and excited by the prospect of my upcoming facial. The owner Denize of the cafe was also very friendly and chatty After having a cupa, I climbed the stairs to the beautiful treatment space which had a very natural and calming feel. Sadia talked through my skin routine, which was non existant. Fortunately, Sadia was non judgmental. The treatment lasted an hour and felt calming, thorough and rejuvenating. At home, my skin felt and looked really good,free of whiteheads and smoother. I have now adopted a cleansing and moisturising skin routine. So thank you Sadia.

I felt I needed some pampering at the end of a long week and had an amazing experience with Sadia at Matters of the Skin. The beautiful space at Higher Ground is tastefully decorated, super clean, airy and peaceful, with a cool coffee shop downstairs. I booked her signature experience and not only was my skin given the best cleaning and pampering possible, I was also given an amazing lymphatic neck massage which seemed like a bonus! The products smelt divine and they really worked, I yawned all the way home, slept like a baby and this morning my skin still feels hydrated, looks clear and glowy. Sadia’s touch is lovely- firm, confident and caring and she is meticulous. You can tell Sadia loves her work, the care she’s taken in choosing her products, so it was an all round positive experience for me. Thank you Sadia!
