Consultations & Skin Tests All new colour clients must book a consultation and skin test at least 48 hours before their appointment. Consultations are £25 for 30 minutes and deducted from the final service total if you proceed. Missed consultations or tests will result in cancellation and loss of deposit. ⸻ 3. Deposits • First-time clients: 25% deposit. • Returning clients: 10% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and deducted from your final bill. Payment can be made online or via link. ⸻ 4. Booking Accuracy Clients are responsible for booking the correct service. If a wrong service or missing finish is booked, it will be corrected before confirmation. All colour clients must have their hair dried in-salon ⸻ 5. Additional Product Use If additional colour or service is needed to achieve results, it will be added to your final price. Examples include glosses, pre-toning, root taps, or basin balayage. ⸻ 6. Lateness If you are more than 30 minutes late, your appointment may be treated as a no-show, and 100% of the fee will be charged. If you inform me you’re running late, I will try to adapt your service to fit the remaining time, but the full cost will still apply. ⸻ 7. Rescheduling & Cancellations You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules require a new deposit. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full service fee. Deposits are non-refundable in all cases. ⸻ 8. No-Shows Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in the full service fee being charged. Repeat no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings. ⸻ 9. Clothing Disclaimer Although every effort is made to protect your clothing, colour products can stain. Please wear suitable clothing. Maven Hairdressing is not liable for any damage or staining to clothing or personal items. ⸻ 10. Client Responsibilities Clients must disclose all relevant hair history, including previous colour, bleach, keratin, or chemical treatments. Incorrect or incomplete information can affect results and is the client’s responsibility. ⸻ 11. Satisfaction Policy If you are unhappy with your service, contact me within 72 hours. Adjustments will be offered within this timeframe at no charge. Refunds are not provided. Changes of mind after the service are chargeable as a new service. ⸻ 12. Aftercare & Liability I am not responsible for results affected by improper aftercare, heat damage, chlorine, or non-professional products. Aftercare advice and product recommendations are provided on https://booksolo.co/maven. ⸻ 13. Health & Safety You must inform me of any allergies or medical conditions. An Allergy Alert Test is required if: • It’s been 12+ months since your last test. • You’ve had tattoos, henna, or allergic reactions. • You’re switching colour brands or shades. Failure to complete testing will cancel your booking and forfeit your deposit. ⸻ 14. Insurance Fully insured for Public Liability, Product Liability, and Hair & Beauty Treatment Liability. ⸻ 15. Photography & Social Media Photos or videos may be taken of your finished style for social media or portfolio use. Verbal consent will always be requested before posting. ⸻ 16.
