Avoid lengthy periods of time in water
Wear gloves for housework, gardening, applying tan lotion, hair dye, chemicals etc
Do not bite, pick, or lift the nails. This can cause damage and trauma to the natural nails
Use non-acetone polish remover to clean nail if necessary, particularly matte nails
If and when you decide to remove your nails. Do not take them off yourself. Come in and have them professionally removed to avoid damage
Every 2-3 weeks your nails require infill/maintenance. This is important to the appearance of your nails and the health of your natural nails, to check for any lifting, repair any damage and to minimise the risk of fungal or bacterial infections
 Daily application of cuticle oil and moisturiser will keep your nails flexible and hydrated and help prevent lifting, cracks and breaks
Be aware of your new nails when using your hands, particularly if you have chosen long extensions. Avoid using your nails as tools and treat them with care
