I cannot recommend Alire enough! She gave me the most beautiful Russian manicure and pedicure, and her care and kindness went far beyond just nails. During my initial appointment, I unfortunately had a medical emergency, and she handled the situation so calmly and compassionately. She called my mum, stayed with me, made sure I wasn’t left alone, and even offered to come to the hospital with us to ensure we got there safely. What really touched me was that later the same day, she invited me back to finish my manicure and pedicure once everything had settled. She also continued checking up on me throughout the day to make sure I was okay. The level of care, effort, and genuine kindness she showed me meant so much, and on top of that, her work is absolutely amazing. Thank you again, Alire, for not only making my nails look beautiful but for being such a caring person too. 🤍

About me
I’m Alire, a Brazilian nail artist based in Forest Gate, East London, specialising in Russian manicure and pedicure techniques, BIAB, hard gel, and refined nail art.
My relationship with nails began long before this studio existed. Between 2006 and 2013, I worked as a mobile nail technician across London, first part time and later full time, mainly within the Brazilian community. Back then, I worked using traditional Brazilian nail techniques, which taught me the importance of precision, attention to detail, and genuine client care from the very beginning.
Over time, I realised I wanted to grow beyond the techniques I already knew. After stepping away from the industry, life took me in many different directions. I worked across hospitality, retail, property, and corporate environments while also returning to university as a mature student. I completed a BSc in Geography during the pandemic, followed by postgraduate studies in Urban Geography.
Although nails were no longer my profession during those years, creativity, care, and working closely with people always remained at the centre of my life.
In late 2024, after a long period of reflection and personal change, I decided to return to the beauty industry and retrain professionally in Russian manicure and modern gel systems. Around the same time, I was also working as a play worker for a charity supporting neurodivergent children, which became a deeply meaningful experience for me personally and professionally. It taught me patience, adaptability, emotional awareness, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely accepted.
As someone with a neurodivergent mind myself, I understand how difficult beauty spaces can sometimes feel for people who experience the world differently. Creating an inclusive, calm, judgement free environment is therefore deeply important to me. I want every client who sits in my chair to feel welcomed exactly as they are.
I began working with models in late 2024 before building my private client base from a small home studio. Since then, my work has continued to grow organically through trust, word of mouth, and a shared appreciation for healthy, beautifully structured nails.
Today, I work from my studio in East London, just a few minutes from home, where I offer calm, one to one appointments focused on precision, comfort, and nail health.
I work exclusively on short to medium length natural nails, with an emphasis on clean cuticles, balanced structure, durability, and soft, elegant finishes. Every set is approached individually, taking into account your nail condition, lifestyle, and long term nail health rather than simply following trends.
More recently, I’ve been developing my own nail art identity through the use of premium Korean and Japanese gel products, with a particular love for magnetic cat eye designs. I’m deeply drawn to light, depth, reflection, and the almost liquid movement these finishes create. As someone with a neurodivergent mind, I find a real sense of joy and creative focus in these textures and visual effects, which has naturally become part of my artistic style.
Nothing here is rushed. I believe beautiful nails should feel effortless, wearable, and genuinely yours.

A clean and elegant cuticle treatment using a combination of electric file and manual tools. This method creates a neat, polished look that lasts longer than a traditional manicure. Please note: this service does not include nail enhancements. For strengthening or added durability, see my other services. The treatment is completed with nourishing cuticle oil and a soothing moisturiser.
Please note:
The appointment duration is an estimate and may vary depending on the condition of the cuticles and the level of preparation required. Please allow extra time if you have overgrown cuticles, have not had a Russian manicure before, or have sensitive skin that is prone to bleeding easily.
If you are taking any medication that thins the blood, please inform me in advance, as this may increase sensitivity and the likelihood of bleeding during cuticle work.

Prescriptive Gel/BIAB manicure (Alire's signature service)
A high-performance, prescriptive manicure designed to create flawless, resilient, and naturally elegant nails that instantly elevate your hands. Expect impeccable structure, refined shaping, and a smooth, glossy finish that gives your nails that unmistakable freshly done look.
This treatment is tailored to each client. The base system — soft gel (BIAB) or hard gel — is professionally selected according to your natural nail condition, strength, and length to achieve the most balanced, durable result.
Soft gel (BIAB) typically lasts 2–3 weeks, while hard gel can last 3–4 weeks when properly maintained.
This service focuses on enhancing short to medium-length natural nails.
- What’s Included
• Detailed Russian manicure with meticulous cuticle work for a clean, precise foundation.
• A prescribed base system (soft gel / BIAB or hard gel) selected to strengthen and protect your natural nails.
• When hard gel is required, the service may include free-edge reinforcement, correction of missing corners, and up to two small nail extensions if necessary.
• Balanced structure and durability while maintaining a refined, natural aesthetic — ideal for short to medium lengths (free edge up to 1 cm).
• Choice of translucent base shades including milky white, milky pink, or nude.
• Gel colour of your choice (excluding cat-eye finishes, available under the nail art menu).
• A selection of effect top coats, including glitter, pearlescent, milky white, milky pink, and nude finishes.
• Finished with nourishing cuticle oil and hydrating moisturiser.
- Not Included (Add-Ons)
• Removal of existing foreign enhancements is not included. Please add a removal service when booking (additional charge applies).
• Nail art, including French tips, cat-eye, chrome, or other detailed designs.
- Important Notes
• This is a detailed, specialist service rather than a quick manicure. Please check the appointment duration when booking. If several nails require repair or correction, additional time may be necessary.
• A 3-hour appointment window is reserved to allow the necessary time for precision work.
• If you choose gel colour, please allow an additional 30 to 45 minutes (depending on colour and/or opacity).
• From your second appointment onwards, please allow an additional 20 minutes for debulking the old product.
• To maintain structure, appearance, and nail health, a rebalance every 3–4 weeks is recommended.
