Avoid exposing your nails to excessive heat (such as hot showers, saunas, steam rooms) during this time.
General Daily Care
Apply cuticle oil at least twice daily to maintain hydration & prevent lifting.
Use hand cream regularly to keep the skin & nails nourished.
Avoid using your nails as tools - this includes opening cans, picking or scraping.
Protection & Maintenance
Wear gloves when washing dishes, cleaning, gardening or handling chemicals.
Avoid prolonged exposure to water, as it can weaken enhancements & natural nails.
Refrain from biting, picking or pulling at your nails, as this can cause damage.
Lifting or Damage
If you notice any lifting or breakage, do not attempt to fix or remove your nails at home.
Contact Nu'Nails to schedule a repair appointment to prevent further damage.
Infills & Removal
For best results, book your infills every 2-3 weeks, depending on your nail growth & lifestyle.
Professional removal is strongly recommended. Improper at-home removal can damage the natural nail.
Products to Avoid
Avoid using acetone-based products unless instructed.
Limit contact with harsh cleaning agent, alcohol-based sanitizers or strong chemicals, as these can breakdown nail products over time.
Acrylic & Gel Enhancements
Treat your nail enhancements with care; they are durable but not indestructible.
Avoid tapping or knocking your nails against hard surfaces.
