Having been a follower of fashion hair and beauty, all of my life, and having studied hairdressing at college, it was inevitable that I would follow one of these paths.
An opportunity to pursue hairdressing as a career presented itself in early 2008, after a successful period of working in the retail industry in London and here in Exeter, so I leapt at the chance.
Hairdressing is not just a job for me. It is a passion. My focus always is on ensuring a first class client experience which is evident from the high praise and feedback, both my team and myself receive regularly.
Being happy and motivated has been key to maintaining the success of nv as a brand, and a destination for the many services I offer including Japanese straightening, for which I am a specialist in the south-west…..I love straightening the world one head at a time!
I love what I do, and I love making clients happy, this extends to the ambience in the salon, the contemporary decor and cheerful ambience

I’ve been seeing Clare for about 13 years now and I can honestly say she’s as good as ever. She’s recently moved into a new studio and the space is lovely—comfortable, welcoming and very Clare. I just had a trim today and as usual exactly what my hair needed. It’s rare to find someone you can trust with your hair for over a decade but Clare continues to earn that trust every single visit.
