ACCEPTANCE

By booking an appointment with Polished by Abi - I confirm that I have read, understood and accept all of the Terms & Conditions listed.


APPOINTMENTS

• New clients MUST arrive with bare nails. • I am unable to remove any builder gel applied by another nail artist that has been infilled more than once. • I am unable to infill any work other than my own. • Nail health must be optimum for any service to be carried out. • Nails and surrounding skin must not be damaged to ensure both proper adhesion of any products and to avoid any potential negative reactions.


CANCELLATIONS, ARRIVAL & LATENESS:

• A minimum of 48 hours notice must be given to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the cancelled appointment. This is to cover loss of earnings and admin time spent attempting to fill the appointment slot. • Failure to turn up for an appointment without prior contact or notice or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, will result in a 100% charge of the missed appointment. • Charges will be taken from the card on file if captured, or expected to be sent via bank transfer if not. My bank details are available upon request. • Multiple no shows will be removed from the client base and no further bookings will be accepted. • As I am a home salon, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment unless agreed beforehand. I do have a parking pass available, but if it is currently in use by a client already here I cannot provide it to you until their appointment is finished. I cannot be held responsible if a parking ticket is issued if you park without the permit. Please keep this in mind with your arrival time if driving. • Each client that arrives late has a knock on effect throughout the day on the timings of the subsequent appointments. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late for their appointment may be automatically cancelled. PLEASE contact me if you are running late to ensure the appointment can still go ahead. This policy will be strictly adhered to as I cannot leave the salon late due to childcare.


AFTERCARE:

• Nails are subjected to wear and tear every day as we use our hands. Nails are not infallible and will reflect the aftercare given to them. • Please familiarise yourself with the aftercare guide emailed to you and which is also available on my account to ensure minimal damage to your new nails. Following this guide will keep both your nails and cuticles in their best condition. • Any breaks or lifting within the first 3 days after the appointment will be fixed free of charge, providing the damage or lifting has not arisen from picking at the nail or the product. This will be apparent if there is trauma to the nail plate. • Damage, breaks or lifting after the first 3 days will be chargeable at £4 per nail, not including any art which may have been applied.
