Welcome to Refined by Courtney Joyce. By booking an appointment, you agree to the policies below. These policies ensure a smooth, professional experience for all clients.
1. BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS
* before booking please know that I don't infill others work. if you have nail enhancements on that's not been done by myself please let me know prior so I can add a foreign removal to your appointment.
•All appointments must be booked in advance through [website or through instagram].
•A non-refundable deposit of [50%] is required for your first 3 appointments to secure.
•Deposits are deducted from the final balance at your appointment.
2. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOWS
•A minimum of [48 hours] notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
•Late cancellations will result in your deposit being forfeited.
•No-show appointments will be charged [full service amount] before another appointment can be booked by either requesting from client or your card being charged.
•Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future services.
3. LATENESS POLICY
•A grace period of [ 10 minutes] is allowed.

4. PAYMENT
•Full payment is due at the end of your appointment.
•Accepted payment methods: [Cash, card, bank transfer, etc.]
•card details are collected when booking a treatment, this is to collect payment if there is a late cancellation or a no - show. cancellation 72 hours before will be free, 48 hours before will be 50% of your total treatment cost and 24 hours will be 100% of total treatment cost.
5. HEALTH, HYGIENE & SAFETY
•Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or infections prior to treatment.
•Services may be refused if a nail, skin, or brow condition poses a risk.
•For safety reasons, children or extra guests may only attend if permitted ahead of time.
6. SERVICE GUARANTEES & REPAIRS (Nails)
•Nail repairs caused by service lifting, chipping, or breakage are free within [72 hours ].
•Damage caused by the client through trauma or misuse is not covered and will incur a repair fee.
•After [72 hours ], all repairs are charged at normal rates.
7. BROW TREATMENT ELIGIBILITY
•Clients must be 16+ unless otherwise stated by law (ID may be required).

8. PATCH TEST & ALLERGIES
•It is the client’s responsibility to book and attend a patch test.
•Any reactions must be reported immediately.
•The technician is not responsible for reactions that occur if you fail to disclose medical issues or previous sensitivities.
9. AFTERCARE RESPONSIBILITY (Brows)
Clients must follow the provided aftercare to ensure best results. This includes:
•Keeping brows dry for the recommended period
•Avoiding makeup or harsh products around the brow area
•Avoiding sunbeds, steam, or sweating for 24–48 hours Failure to follow aftercare may affect results and is not eligible for a refund or free correction.
10. BROW LAMINATION POLICY
•Brow lamination cannot be performed if you are pregnant, breastfeeding (depending on tint policy), have eczema/psoriasis in the brow area, or recently used strong skin treatments (e.g., retinol, AHA/BHA).
•Results vary depending on natural brow hair and hair growth cycles.
12. LIABILITY
•Refined by Courtney Joyce is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed conditions, allergies, medication changes, or failure to follow aftercare.
•Clients accept responsibility for maintaining their results at home following the provided guidance.
13. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Service may be refused if:
•A client behaves disrespectfully
•A health or hygiene issue is present
•Policies are repeatedly breached
•The client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol
