First of all thank you so much for choosing Seasalt. It truly means the world. These terms exist not to be difficult, but to make sure everything runs smoothly for both of us. I want your experience to be as calm and enjoyable as possible, and a little bit of mutual respect goes a long way in making that happen.
Booking Fee
To secure your appointment, a booking fee is required at the time of booking. This is not an extra charge, it simply comes off the total cost of your treatment on the day.
I completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans have to change. Here's how it works:
– You're welcome to reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment and your booking fee will be carried over no problem at all.
– If you need to cancel or reschedule within the 48-hour window, the booking fee will unfortunately be retained.
– Cancellations within 24 hours or on the day will incur the full treatment charge, as that time is very difficult to fill at short notice.
– In the event of a no-show with no prior notice, I'm unable to accept future bookings. I hope you understand this is simply not sustainable as a small business.
- If you decide on the day to change the service, the original treatment(s) booked may still be charged. This protects the time I have allocated to you.
Arrival Time
Your appointment time is the time I'll be ready for you so please aim to arrive right on time, not too early and not too late!
As a private one-to-one salon, the time before your appointment is used for setting up, cleaning, and taking a well-earned breather between clients. Arriving early - even just 10–15 minutes can encroach on that, so I kindly ask that you wait nearby if you do arrive ahead of time.
There's free parking on Barley Lane which is a lovely spot to sit and have a scroll if you're a little early!
If you're running late, please just drop me a message so I know. Here's how late arrivals are handled:
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, I'll carry out as much of your treatment as I can within the remaining time, but please be aware the service may need to be adjusted. If the delay is significant, I may have to reschedule your appointment entirely and the full treatment charge may apply.
I promise this isn't to be harsh, it's simply to protect the time and experience of every client, including you.
Consultation Forms & Health Information
To make sure I can give you the very best treatment, all clients must complete a consultation form before arriving to their appointment. This can be done digitally in advance please don't leave it until you arrive. I rely on consultation forms to ensure the treatment is safe for you.
It's really important that you disclose any relevant medical information, allergies, skin conditions, or medications that could affect your treatment. Your safety is my priority.
I am unable to take responsibility for any adverse reactions or complications that arise as a result of undisclosed medical information. If anything changes between appointments, please let me know.
Patch Tests
Patch tests are required for all tinting services (brows, lashes, etc.) and must be carried out at least 48 hours before your appointment, no exceptions.
If you haven't had a patch test in time, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and the booking fee will be retained. I know it can feel like a faff, but this is genuinely for your safety and I'll never compromise on it.
Even if you've been tinted before things can change, so patch tests are always required.
Refunds & Complaints
All treatments are non-refundable once they have been carried out. That said, your happiness genuinely matters to me and I will always do my best to make things right.
If you have any concerns about your treatment, please get in touch within 48 hours of your appointment. Any genuine issues will be looked at and rectified within a reasonable timeframe, subject to availability.
Please don't suffer in silence I'd much rather know so we can sort it together.
Gift Vouchers
Seasalt gift vouchers make a lovely treat for someone special! Here are a few things to keep in mind:
– Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
– Vouchers cannot be extended beyond their expiry date please make sure to use them in time!
– Redemption is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Vouchers are non-refundable and have no cash value.
The Salon Space
Seasalt operates on a one-to-one basis. This means your appointment is yours a calm, private space just for you and me, with no distractions and no rushing.
To maintain this environment:
– Additional guests are not permitted in the salon.
– Children are not able to accompany you to your appointment.
– There is no waiting area this is intentional! Please aim to arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.
I hope you understand this calm, considered approach is something I'm really proud of and it's at the heart of what Seasalt is all about.
Getting Here & Parking
There is a dedicated parking space available on the drive directly outside the salon please feel free to use it.
Free on-street parking is also available on Barley Lane if needed.
Photography
I love to share my work and may occasionally ask if I can photograph your treatment for portfolio or social media purposes. You are absolutely not obligated to say yes , just let me know and I'll always respect your wishes.
Your Privacy & Data
Your contact details and appointment history are stored electronically on a secure database. This information is used solely to manage your bookings and provide you with the best possible care.
Your data will never be shared with any third parties.
Your information will be held for as long as you are an active client. If you'd like your data deleted, simply get in touch and I'll arrange that for you please just be aware that without your records, I wouldn't be able to hold future bookings.
Your privacy matters. Always.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to decline or discontinue a treatment if I have any concerns regarding suitability, health, or safety. This will always be handled with care and discretion.
