Patch Test Policy

To ensure the safety of our clients, a patch test is required for all new clients and existing clients who meet the following criteria: New Clients: A patch test is mandatory for all new clients booking any of the following treatments: Brow Tint, Lash Tint, LVL Lash Lift, or Brow Lamination. Existing Clients: A new patch test is required for existing clients if: It has been six months or longer since their last treatment. There has been a change in their medical history or medication. Patch Test Procedure Timing: Patch tests must be performed at least 48 hours before the scheduled treatment appointment. Location: Patch tests are typically administered on a small area of skin, such as the inner elbow. Results: Clients should monitor the patch test site for any adverse reactions (redness, itching, swelling, etc.) within 24-48 hours. Important Notes: Clients must inform the therapist immediately if they experience any adverse reactions after the patch test. This policy is in place to ensure client safety and minimize the risk of allergic reactions. Thank you Secred Beauty


Facial

Hydrate: Drink lots of water to help flush out toxins. Avoid makeup: Avoid wearing makeup for at least 6 hours after your facial. If you do wear makeup, make sure your brushes are clean and sanitized. Avoid exfoliation: Avoid exfoliating your skin for at least 5 days after your facial. Avoid heat and sun: Avoid direct sunlight, heat treatments, and sunbeds for 48 hours after your facial. Avoid other facials: Avoid getting any other facial treatments for 48 hours after your facial. Avoid perfumed products: Avoid applying perfume or perfumed products to the treated area for 48 hours. Avoid alcohol and caffeine: Reduce your caffeine intake and try to avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Avoid exercise: Avoid physical exercise for 24 hours. Sleep on a clean pillowcase: Sleep on a clean pillowcase, preferably silk or satin. Use a protective moisturizer: Apply a protective moisturizer twice daily or more often if needed. Don't pick at your skin: Avoid picking at your skin.


Microdermabrasion

Protect your skin from the sun: Avoid sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 every day. Avoid harsh products: Don't use scrubs, exfoliants, or products with glycolic acid, alpha-hydroxy, salicylic acid, beta-hydroxy, retinol, or benzoyl peroxide for at least 72 hours. Wash gently: Use a gentle cleanser twice a day. Moisturize regularly: Use a fragrance-free and hypoallergenic moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and looking fresh. Avoid certain activities: Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, and exercise for at least 24 hours. Don't pick at your skin: Allow your skin to heal. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and carry a moisturizing spritz with you. Follow your therapist's instructions: Your therapist will provide you with aftercare instructions. Use mineral makeup: If you do wear makeup, use a quality mineral makeup and clean your makeup brushes regularly.


Chemical Peel

Avoid touching your face: Don't pick, peel, or rub your skin for a few days. Protect from sun: Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least four weeks. When you do go outside, wear a hat, sunglasses. Avoid heat: Avoid saunas, hot showers, and hot tubs for at least two weeks. Moisturize: Use a fragrance-free, water-based moisturizer regularly to keep your skin from drying out. You can also use petroleum jelly on sensitive areas. Cleanse gently: Use a mild cleanser with cool water and your fingertips. Avoid certain products: Don't use products with retinol for at least 10 days. Also avoid peeling agents like glycolic acid until your skin stops desquamating. Give your skin time to heal: Wait at least 2–3 weeks before getting another skincare treatment.


Microneedling

Cleanse gently: Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser to cleanse the treated area. Avoid harsh scrubbing or exfoliation. Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of a non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated. Your provider may recommend a specific product. Avoid irritants: Refrain from using makeup, skincare products containing retinol, AHAs, or BHAs, and harsh chemicals. Protect from sun exposure: Wear sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily to protect the treated area from the sun. Avoid heat: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and excessive sweating. Avoid picking or peeling: Refrain from picking at any scabs or peeling skin, as this can lead to scarring. Drink plenty of water to help your skin heal and replenish lost moisture.



Nouvea LVL Lashes

Avoid getting them wet: Keep your lashes dry for the first 48 hours. Avoid steam and heat: Don't use saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers for 48 hours. Also avoid hot ovens and kettles. Avoid rubbing your eyes: Be gentle when washing your face and pat your lashes dry. Avoid sleeping on your face: Try not to sleep on your front or side so your lashes don't get disturbed. Avoid certain products: Don't use waterproof mascara, eyelash curlers, oil-based makeup or removers, eye creams, lash serums, or false lashes for 24 hours. Use a lash serum: Apply a lash conditioning serum or conditioner daily. Brush your lashes: Brush your lashes upwards regularly to maintain their shape and lift. info...
