1. Do not apply Retin-A, Renova, Tazorac, and/or Differin 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your treatment, to the treatment area or as instructed by your Physician, Registered Nurse or certified aesthetician at SKINBYARIANNA. 2. Do not sun tan or use the tanning bed 2-4 weeks prior to and 2-4 weeks after your treatment. 3. Stop any type of depilatory treatments (waxing, depilatory creams) to the area of treatment, 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your peel. 4. Stop any use of any prescription creams e.g Tretinioin 4 weeks up to 6 months prior to treatment depending on longevity used as instructed by your Physician, Registered Nurse or certified aesthetician at SKINBYARIANNA. 5. Stop electrolysis, and any type of laser treatments (laser hair removal, IPL) to the area of treatment, 2-4 weeks before and 2-4 weeks after your peel or as instructed by your Physician, Registered Nurse or certified aesthetician at SKINBYARIANNA. 6. Use barrier complementing products to strengthen your skin prior to your appointment to get a speedy recovery and help get the best out of your treatment plan E.G Hydrating wash,antioxidant,hyaluronic acid, barrier moisturiser.
Drink plenty of water before and after treatments to improve your complexion and speed healing. Apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with SPF 30 or greater every day after treatment. Avoid sun exposure for at least a week after, Wear UV protection like a hat, sunglasses. No heat treatments for a week as can cause increased inflammation on the skin whilst you are healing. Use gentle products no exfoliation or cell turnover products such as (AHA BHA, acids, vitamin A) for 2 weeks depending on healing rate of the skin speak to your aesthetician for more advise. Use a light, calming moisturizer after treatment avoid any irritation and to restore your skin's balance. Avoid using makeup or other cosmetic products for at least 24-48 hours depending on the treatment further advice will be provided by your aesthetican. Avoid touching or peeling any shedding of the skin as will cause further damage to the skin barrier and can risk to scarring.
