Terms and Conditions for Skin Altar Studio ____

1. Introduction 1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of facial and skincare services by Skin Altar Studio ("the Company") to the client ("the Client"). 1.2 By booking a service or package, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. ____
2. Booking Procedures 2.1 All bookings must be made in advance, either online or by contacting the Company directly. 2.2 A non-refundable booking fee or deposit may be required to secure the appointment or treatment package. 2.3 The Client must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding service preferences, skin concerns, and relevant medical history. ____
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling 3.1 Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. 3.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the booking fee or loss of that session in a package. ____
4. Payment Terms 4.1 Payment for services or packages is required in advance or at the time of the first appointment unless otherwise agreed. 4.2 Accepted payment methods include debit/credit cards, bank transfer, and any other specified methods. 4.3 All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. ____
5. Location of Services 5.1 All services are carried out exclusively at Skin Altar Studio, located at a fixed premises. Mobile services are no longer provided. 5.2 Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time. ____
6. Health and Safety 6.1 The Client must inform the Company of any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities prior to the appointment. 6.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse or adapt treatments if there are concerns about the Client’s health or safety. 6.3 If you have had Botox injections in your face, we recommend waiting at least 10 days before undergoing any facial treatments. 6.4 If you have had dermal filler injections, we recommend waiting at least four weeks before undergoing any facial treatments. ____
7. Liability 7.1 The Company holds public liability insurance for all services provided. 7.2 The Company is not liable for any adverse effects, allergic reactions, or outcomes resulting from failure to disclose relevant health information or from misuse of post-treatment skincare advice/products. 7.3 The Company's total liability is limited to the value of the service or treatment provided. ____
8. Data Protection 8.1 Skin Altar Studio operates in accordance with the UK GDPR. Client data is used solely for the purpose of providing services, maintaining treatment records, and relevant communication. 8.2 Client information is treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent. ____
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions 9.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be made available on the website or communicated directly to Clients. ____
10. Governing Law 10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. ____
