General aftercare advice

FACIAL :

  • Drink plenty of water.

  • We advise that you avoid wearing makeup for 6-8 hours.

  • Avoid sunbathing or sun beds for 48 hours.

GUA SHA:

-Drink plenty of water

  • Avoid hot showers or baths for 24 hrs.

  • Avoid Sun exposure for 24 hrs.

  • Avoid harsh skincare products or exfoliants.

  • Allow time for recovery, some clients experience mild redness (Sha) or sensitivity afterwards. This comes from stagnation and is a sign that the body is clearing. This may take up to 5 days to clear.

REFLEXOLOGY:

  • Drink plenty of fluids, water or herbal teas to help the body flush any toxins that may have been released into the system.

  • Rest where and if possible so that the body is able to rebalance and heal.

  • Avoid stimulants like alcohol and caffeine so that the body is able to focus on healing.

  • Eat light, nourishing whole foods.

  • Do not be alarmed if you have a rise in body temperature or start to feel slightly under the weather. This indicates that the body’s internal healing processes have been kick started.


Aftercare
