Welcome to SM Beauty Massage. By booking an appointment or using these services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided, including Nails, Massage, Facials, Aesthetics, Waxing, Brow & Lash Tinting & Lifting.
These Terms & Conditions are designed to govern the activities of website visitors and establish the relationship between clients and the business. We understand that the nature of beauty services and courses requires specific terms, including commercial agreements, intellectual property rights, and customer responsibilities.
2. Terms & Conditions cover important aspects such as:
- Eligibility to use the website and account creation requirements.
- Commercial terms for services.
- Retention of the right to modify the offerings.
- Warranties and responsibilities for the treatments.
- Ownership of intellectual property, copyrights, and logos.
- Right to suspend or cancel member accounts.
- Indemnification and limitation of liability.
- Modification of terms and dispute resolution.
3. Appointments
- All appointments must be booked in advance via the website, phone, or in person.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time or rescheduling, subject to availability.
- Clients must inform SM beauty & Massage of any changes or cancellations at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in paying a 50% fee of the total appointment amount. Less than 12 hours will result in paying the full amount of the scheduled service.
4. Payments
- Acceptable forms of payment; Cash, Card or Bank Transfer.
- All treatments must be paid in full upon completion.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
5. Refund Policy
- SM Beauty & Massage do not offer refunds on completed treatments.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless SM Beauty & Massage cancels the appointment.
6. Health and Safety
- Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or recent treatments or surgeries that may affect their suitability for services. This includes pregnancy, skin conditions, or ongoing medication.
- For Eyebrow/ Eyelash tint, Lash Lift and Brow Lamination a patch test is required 48 hours before the first treatment.
- SM Beauty & Massage reserves the right to refuse service if it is believed the treatment may pose a health risk.
7. Age Restrictions
- Clients must be 18 or over for any Massage treatments.
- Clients under 16 years old wanting the following treatments; waxing (non-intimate), facials, manicures, and pedicures require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
8. Conduct
- Any inappropriate behaviour towards SM Beauty & Massage (Shannon Marie) or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service.
9. Liability
- SM Beauty Massage (Shannon Marie) is not liable for any adverse reactions caused by failure to disclose relevant health information.
- SM Beauty & Massage (Shannon Marie) is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings while on the premises.
10. Promotions and Packages
- Promotional offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
- Packages or prepaid sessions are non-transferable and must be used within the specified validity period.
11. Privacy Policy
- SM Beauty & Massage respect your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Information provided during bookings or consultations will only be used to deliver services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
12. Client Eligibility
- SM Beauty & Massage aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all clients.
- SM Beauty & Massage reserve the right to refuse service if this policy is not respected.
13. Changes to Terms & Conditions
- SM Beauty & Massage reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients are encouraged to review them regularly.
14. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, SM Beauty & Massage encourages clients to contact directly to resolve the issue amicably. If necessary, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the governing laws of the United Kingdom.
