Aftercare

Do not apply makeup to the area for 7 days. Do not expose the treated area to the sun, sun beds, sea, sauna or facial treatments for the first 14 days. No soap or facial scrubs, peels creams or chemicals to be applied to the treated area for 28 days. Gently pat dry and apply aftercare cream as often as possible. The area must be kept moist. This is extremely important to keep from losing the depth of colour. Apply cream at least 3 times a day. Apply a generous amount to the treated area before going to sleep. The area starts to heal immediately and a fine crust will form. Do not pick off the top crust; if you do it will result in a patchy finish. You must apply the cream as much as possible. This will result in the best finish. You will lose approx. 40% of the colour during the first 7-10 days; this is due to the skin staining from the pigment. Further depth can be added on your 2nd treatment in 28 days, in some cases a third treatment may be needed, due to skin sensitivity and if your skin is resistant you may need a further touch-up. There is a small charge for this. Your touch up should be 4-6 weeks after your first treatment. To keep the colour fresh a yearly touch up is recommended for semi permanent makeup.
