Sometimes having a spray-tan can be a bit of a daunting experience, but there’s nothing to worry about.

You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in (your own underwear, bra, knickers or paper pants). I tan women of all shapes and sizes, and they all have their own preferences.

I have a robe for you to wear before your tan, while I add barrier cream and after the treatment, before you put your loose clothes back on.

I’ll try and make you feel as comfortable as possible so you’re happy with the experience, along with your golden glow.

NO NEED FOR A LOT OF SPACE

You don’t need a lot of space to have a spray-tan at home, all you need is enough space to pop up the tanning tent which is only 1.2x1.2m wide and 2m high. This could be in a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, or even in the garden shed - as long as there’s a plug nearby.

The tent is big enough to keep all the spray from the tan contained, so there’s no mess for you to clean up after the appointment. It only takes 30 minutes - this includes set up and pack down too! It takes a few minutes to apply and dries within seconds and should last between 5-7 days. You can look bronzed and ready to go within minutes of my arrival. The perfect treatment to have at home.

PERFECT PREP

Pre tan advice

• Exfoliate, especially the night before tan on dry skin. Pay particular attention to knees, elbows, hands and feet and any dry areas.
• Paint nails and toenails
• Wax or shave 24-48 hours prior to treatment to allow pores to close.
• DO NOT moisturise or use skin lotions on the day of tan. Remove makeup, deodorant, lotions and perfume/aftershave BEFORE tan, as they can act as a barrier. It’s particularly important to remove deodorant as it can react with the tan and discolour (it goes green!!)
• Wear loose dark clothing and flip flops. The tan will wash out of most clothing, but may stain lighter items.
