In order to get the most out of your treatment, ensure you do the following after your facial treatment, 1. Do not wash your face or apply any skincare products for 12 hours 2. To minimise dryness, skip out on any 'active' products for 3 days after. (i.e Retinal + Acids) 3. Do not apply makeup for 12-24 hours. (Once 12 - 24 hours have passed and you wish to wear makeup, please ensure your brushes are clean and sanitised) 4. Avoid exercise / sweating for 24 hours 5. Avoid swimming, sauna’s and spa environments for 72 hours 6. Sleep on a fresh clean pillowcase. Preferably Silk / Satin 7. Make sure that you are also avoiding direct sun exposure. Especially tanning beds. (Preferably forever! But if you must, please wait 14 days) 8. Make sure to keep your skin well hydrated with a protective moisturiser. Apply it twice daily or more often if needed to reduce any dryness. 9. Do not use scrubs, loofahs, exfoliating sponges or other means of mechanical exfoliation on your face for 7 days. 10. Drink LOTS of water!
1. Use cuticle oil daily to promote healthy growth & prevent lifting. 2. Avoid intense heat for 24 hours. (sauna, jacuzzi & sunbeds) 3. Always wear rubber gloves when washing up, cleaning or gardening. 4. Always wash your hands thoroughly after being in contact with chlorine, insect repellent or sunscreen. 5. Wear gloves when cooking with spices such as turmeric or curry powders as they can stain the nails. 6. Dye from new jeans or newly coloured hair can also stain gel polish. 7. Always return to the salon for maintenance every 3 - 4 weeks max. When you would like to remove your nails ensure this is carried out by your nail technician. 8. Don't use your nails as tools (opening packages, picking labels or typing on with nails) 9. Do not pick or peel off your enhancements.
After your massage treatment, your body and mind are in a relaxed state. To ensure you receive maximum benefits from your treatment, it is recommended to follow this advice below, 1. Drink plenty of water after your treatment. This helps with dehydration, lost fluids, reduces fatigue, as well as helps eliminate toxins. 2. Avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine containing beverage for 12 hours, as they may have a stronger effect due to an increase in circulation. 3. Avoid strenuous activity for the next 12 hours, to help your body relax and de-stress further. 4. When sitting in front of a computer for longer than 20 minutes, stand up to stretch and gently warm up your joints. 5. Massage treatments work best when performed on a regular basis. Make sure to book your next session promptly.
