Hi everyone I just thought I would introduce myself I’m Esme the owner of The Nail Nook. I’m 24 years old and I’m a beginner nail and beauty technician. Back in 2023 I qualified in level 2 beauty therapy Gel nails and also Biab Nails.
Anyone who knows me personally knows that I’ve always had a love for all things nails and beauty from a very young age. It has always been a dream of my to one day have my own space and business to provide beauty treatments for you all as I believe everyone deserves a good old pamper session.
I can’t wait to meet you all and grow my client base and share this new and exciting journey with you all.
Here at The Nail Nook not only is it my priority to make sure that all my clients have a positive experience when visiting The Nail Nook and leave happy and confident after having their treatments done. But my clients health and safety will always be my number one priority when it comes to having treatments done.
That’s why when I was picking a brand to use in my salon I wanted to make sure that all the products I used were suitable for everyone. That is why I choose to use HONA.
HONA is an award winning brand specialising in hypoallergenic nail products. This means they have removed all the nasty chemicals such as HEMA , HPMA and IBOA that can cause nail allergies.
While removing these ingredients can prevent nail allergies it does not always stop them from happening and HONA and myself just want to be transparent on this.
So if you are someone who has suffered from nail allergies in the past and have struggled to get your nails done since having an allergy then HONA may just be the perfect brand for you.
I can provide a nail patch test free of charge prior to your appointment. If you would like to book in for a patch test please contact me through my website as this is not currently bookable through my online booking system
As well as being hypoallergenic HONA is also vegan and gluten free so it really was a no brainer for me when choosing this brand.
Deposit: Please note that when booking it will ask you for a £10 deposit. This just allows me to cover some of my time and cost in the event of a cancellation or no shows

This treatment includes: shaping of the natural nail followed by cuticle work.
Then depending on the answers you have given to me on your consultation form and through further discussion with you I will choose and pick the right builder gel product for your nails as I want to insure I'm giving you the full prescriptive manicure treatment while insuring the health of your nails.
Once the right product of builder gel is picked for your nails you can go ahead and choose the colour of builder gel you wish to have applied to your nails. The treatment will then be finished with cuticle oil.

Please Note: that this treatment only involves the soak off of products and gels used in my salon e.g Hona and Nail Order builder gel and gel products. If you are coming to me from another salon then please make sure you book a foreign removal first and then add your chosen treatment that you would like to have done on top of that if you wish to do so.
This treatment includes: Full removal and soak off of your previous builder gel (BIAB). Followed by shaping of the natural nail and cuticle work. Followed by a fresh set and reapplication of builder gel (BIAB) in your chosen shade. Finishing with cuticle oil.

This treatment includes: the removal of gel or builder gel products done by a previous salon. Followed a quick tidy up of the natural nail and finishing with cuticle oil if you are just wanting a removal.
Please Note: that if you're wanting a treatment done by myself after the removal e.g Gel or Builder Gel (Biab) nails then you will need to book your chosen treatment on top of this if you are coming from a previous salon.

This treatment includes: the removal of my work only of gel or builder gel products (BIAB). that I use in my salon If you're needing your Gel or BIAB removing for any reason such as for a medical procedure or you just fancy a break from nails then this is the treatment for you.
Includes removal of gel and Biab products and quick tidy up of the natural nail before finishing with cuticle oil.

This treatment includes: the repair of any accidental nail breakages Please note: that any breakages that happen within a 72hr period will be free of charge. Any breakages after the 72hr period will be charged the fixed amount.
Please also note that your appointment may also vary in time due to the types of products used and that may need to be reapplied such as a gel colour or any additional nail art. So please keep this in mind when booking your appointment.

Please Note that all nail art will be priced accordingly on the day but if you would like to book in for nail art then please add this on top of which treatment you have chosen to have.
Simple nail art includes: simple nail art designs such as Flowers ,Hearts ,Different patterns, Line work etc. Chromes, Nail art foils and stickers, Nail Glitter Cat eye gels Blooming gel etc
If you have any inspiration or any pictures you have seen with the type of nail art you would like to have then please send a picture to me beforehand as this then allows me to allocate the right amount of time to complete the nail art. If you have any questions about the price of nail art then please feel free to message me beforehand.
If you have any advanced nail art ideas in mind then please message me with your idea or photo before your appointment and we can discuss further beforehand.
Please also note that your allocated time for nail art may vary due to how complex it may be and the products that may need to be used to create your desired design.

This treatment is for clients who have suffered with a nail allergy in the past.
The patch test will be carried out on one nail where either gel polish or builder gel (BIAB) product will be applied. It will then be left one for one week and if you have no problems with the product then you can book for further treatments.
However if you have any issues with the product or you think you are experiencing some sort of allergic reaction please message me straight away and I can get you back in to remove the product safely and correctly.
